Yes, yes, yes. Their trains are terrible. They actually like, hurt my ankles because I have to angle them so unnaturally due to the width of their train floors. Seats are uncomfortable. Then add in the atrocious comfort collars, eww.

The reason why IceBreaker is not even ahead of kraken for me is because of these restraints. They hurt my shins a lot despite the airtime. I gave it the nickname ShinBreaker (inspired by ThighCrush)

Verona used LIM’s because the current train design for the family coaster couldn’t accommodate the dual fins of the LSM’s so they had to do LIM’s

you forgot their best aspect...they might do the best trackwork in the business. Even their 30 year old coasters are still smooth as glass....while for example, present day B&Ms open as shaky messes. Theres a reason SeaWorld went to them to retrack Nessie. their biggest weakness is those bad trains.

I rode a retracked and refurbished Hulk in August and it was shaky and rough as hell. My boyfriend said “is this going to be rough?” I said “no, B&Ms are notoriously smooth” 😑😑. Never again lol.

@BoomerBaskins Shit, Kumba hasnt been retracked in 30 years and is wayyyyy smoother than the Hulk is and that just got retracked in 2016. New B&M ain't it.

Had a pretty rough ride on FoF a few weeks ago at Kings Island. It was kind of like when I rode Rougarou which tried to play pinball with my head but a little worse, thankful theres no over the shoulder restraints on FoF lol. I don't know why some B&Ms are so bad with their rattle but its not because they're new. Diamondback and Banshee rattle like crazy sometimes but I don't remember any rattle on B&Ms at SFGAm and Cedar Point. Thunderbird is also glass smooth. Hopefully Wrath of Rakshasa doesn't become of the bad ones...

@FrIeDeGgS887 I feel like that FoF is the exception. The other 3 spaghetti bowls are really smooth. But King's Island's one is a bit jolty for whatever reason

@@Posirep Interesting, I had also heard that one of FoF's trains was better than the other but it felt like both of my rides were that "rougher" train. No problems with backlot stunt coaster though, really want to see what other Premier coasters are like but there's nothing else close to me.

Wow I can't belive im saying this but im one of the few who has ridden racing coaster at trans studio. It has a punchy launch with the inverted top hat being quite forceful going forwards. The turnaround into and out of the spike is super intense. The spike itself provides some great weightlessness and the inverted top hat provides amazing hangtime going backwards

@@RCETown That's not quite right, it's not about weight - the Head of Concept engineering said in an interview that it was because with LIMs, they could simply use their existing family coaster trains (like on their family boomerangs) and just extend the brake fin, instead of having to invest more time and money into redesigning the bottom of their trains to handle LSMs.

Oh so they're a one-trick-pony because they only do launch coasters? That makes no sense. Not counting the original form of Lightning Rod, RMC only did chain lift coasters. Are they a one trick pony? B&M has historically also only done chain lifts. Guess they are a one trick pony, too! How far can we take this classification? Hey, ya know Intamin? Well did you know that every single coaster they make is basically just a thing where trains coast along a track? ONE TRICK PONY, THOSE LOT! Magic Mountain is my home park, and I gotta' be honest. You're right. Whenever I get off Full Throttle, I count that as also riding West Coast Racers, because as we know, those two are effectively the same exact experience!

Your point is 100% valid. However, you could make the argument that RMC is a one trick pony as they stick to the same formula for all their coasters since day 1. They are getting a little more variety in with AF1 and WCR, but they still kind of feel the "same." As for Intamin being a one trick pony, that is a slippery slope logical fallacy and I will not debate you on that. Otherwise, yea premiere coasters ride differently and the title and intro are built around the KZbin algorithm. Which worked well. If you watch the video, I have no bad blood for premiere. They make great coasters :)))

@@RCETown Well, if you clickbaited the title to get engagement, that's fair! At least you aren't just shitting on them the entire video. Personally I love Premiere and think they are underrated despite their bad trains. They have some of the most creative layouts behind Intamin. But yeah every manufacturer has their specific style to be honest, All RMCs feel like RMCs, B&Ms generally feel like B&Ms. Permiere coasters feel like Premiere coasters BUT the layouts always feel different and inventive. Alpen Fury looks like it's going to be a Planet Coaster coaster come to life. If there was a single manufacturer I'd say is actually one-trick-pony, it's GCI. You ride one GCI and you've pretty much ridden every GCI.

Great video!! I love Premier layouts. Unfortunately, Premier has been the worst trains and restraints in the business. Their trains are tight and uncomfortable. The comfort collars are terribly uncomfortable. They’re worse than RMC trains!!!

One trick pony? Well, they were the first to master LIM launches. They were the FIRST to create the "Top Hat" element. They have created some of the most insane layouts...i.e. Poltergeist/Flight of Fear, Electric Eel/Superman Ultimate Flight, Speed the Ride, etc. Their coasters ARE glass smooth...I dont think they are a one trick pony, far from it. And yes, their trains do need some design alterations.

And launched coasters do have the advantage of cycling more riders per hour than chain lift coasters, much more effecient.

Bro is fuming lmao. I know what a fact is. You want to hear one? 85% of Premiere's entire catalog are launch coasters. Now does this mean they are a one trick pony? Kind of, but it is a gross generalization. The title and introduction are made to cater to the KZbin algorithm. It obviously worked seeing how you are interacting with the video and this is 1/10 for us. :)))
