I switched from Premier to DaVicni year ago. Cutting in DaVinci is now easy as in Premiere. But coloring in Premiere is still lightyears from DaVinci... Well, sorry but nah..

Hey Luca, followed your video up to 4:25, but after check boxing the AUTO DETECT LOG VIDEO COLOR SPACE in the Project Settings, nothings changed. My video clip still looks washed out after matching all of the settings given. My video clips was shot in Apple Pro Res Log on the Iphone 15 Pro Max.

Hey dude, just in case you didn't figure it out, here's my take. Also using the iPhone 15 Pro Max with Blackmagic Camera App. I recorded it in Apple Pro Res (as HEVC does not seem to respond to the Auto Detect Log Video Color Space) and, you also need to record it in Log. Maybe you already did and it's a no-brainer, but with my settings on Apple Pro Res and Apple Log - HDR, this feature works perfectly.

Itll only work proper if you film in LOG. Also dont just pick a random LUT theres a spefic LUT for your specific camera model.

Click window then select lumetri color and lumetri scopes then again select the color option as well from window. It will show on your right side of pr 2024

that is not auto coloro correction, you are simply having PP add a conversion lut to the footage. You should still correct the clip again, if needed, before final grade. You can auto color corect in Lumetri by hitting the auto button

This is just applying the default slog3 to rec 709 conversion lut that sony has provided. You can find even better luts for this purpose like Phantom Luts. I wouldn't rely on this feature.

@@ConnorLipke thanks man! I shoot with the Sony A1 and I don't see it's compatible with the Phantom Luts. I'm new to video editing for my hummingbirds and adobe premier.
