I never leave comments on videos, but this one was insanely helpful in showing how to use Lumetri Colour without adding any unnecessary filler that it takes too long to get to the point, or assuming too much pre-learned knowledge - so I just had to say thank you. I use Premiere all the time for editing but rarely touch it for colouring due to the belief it was too limited, but after this video I can see all the potential and time saving opportunities when close enough is good enough for grading. Keep it up you legend!

This is by far the most straight forward colour grading video I have seen for Premier Pro, technique can be added to any camera log shot, all needed parameters touched and he wasn't making the video to sell us LUTs. Thank you.

I've been a 3D model artist, working with games engines, for 20 years now but I've recently kinda gotten tired of it.. I'm 40 years old now and I just don't feel passionate about it anymore.. I have, however, found a new passion for video editing and creation. I have done video editing a lot in the past but I'm finding it to be a lot more fun now!

Is there any reason you don’t use adjustment layers to do the various steps? i.e log to Rec 709 conversion, color correction and creative grade.
@Watzac9 ай бұрын
Personally I feel it just makes the timeline messy. I know there are benefits to using adjustment layers but I'd rather stack lumetri colour effects on the clip instead of use adjustment layers

Change your color settings in camera to vlog this will give you the flat shot. Decrease the contrast and Saturation down if you don't have log this will allow you to have more control in post. Hope this helps

Hi, thanks for your video. One question, in some videos I've seen that you create layers and edit the color on the layer (ending up affecting all the shots). Or is it better to edit the color directly in the shots as you do in the video?
