If you want to be a fast editor, it's all about keyboard shortcuts. This video will teach you how to be the fastest editor you know.
These are my top 20 Premiere Pro Shortcuts (hotkeys). I use these every time I edit. Using shortcuts is what separates the AMATEUR video editor from the PRO. With these tricks you can spend way less time editing and way more time spending all that money you're gonna be making with those sick sick edits.

B = Ripple Edit Tool
Q = Ripple Edit Previous
W = Ripple Edit Next
Command,Drag = Insert Place
Option Command, Drag = Insert Single Track
E = Enable
R = Render In To Out
Up Down Keys=Jump To Next Edit
A = Track Select Forward
Y = Slip Tool
N = Rolling Edit
Shift,T = Add Default Transition

When I film a music show, I always render multiple songs rather than a single gig video. I shoot multicam, so there are many cut points on the timeline from camera switching. I use chapter markers to identify each song's start/end points - how do I tell Premiere to take this chapter marker and plant in/out render points each end of it?

Great great video. I had the hardest time finding this video again. You should add "life is short" into your youtube channel name keywords. It makes it so much easier to find you channel combined with say a keyword like premiere pro. Anyway you have a great channel. I was amazed that you don't have 10x as many subs.

I used to have my channel as my name “Emmett Short” I have been toying with Life is Short but I think I’m a go back to Emmett Short and make Life is short a playlist. But I’ve changed my channel name too many times and google is making me wit 90 days to change back. But you’re right having my name or channel name in the title will be a good idea. Thanks.
