Get Tom Wood back every week, he speaks fantastically

Let Jonny talk - as a recent international he has far better insights and he keeps getting cut off when he’s about to say something interesting

An old girlfriend lived down in deepest, darkest Cornwall, and one night after a long day at work I jumped on the train at Bristol Temple Meads and promptly fell asleep. When I woke up, though my sleepy stupor I heard over the crackly speaker "the next station is Loch Ness" and was suddenly very, very awake. As the platform appeared out of the gloom, the relief that washed over me when I saw the station signage read "Totnes" was palpable.

👀 Let's hear your predictions for this weekend... 🏆 Who wins? Northampton or Bath?

Saints, but only by a couple of points. Bath favourites for next season at this point IMO looking at the various departures across the prem.

In the other side of the coin, having players going abroad makes room for other English players to get game time. (hopefully)

When the camera at the semi panned to the crowd showing Smyler with Luther Burrell sat next to him, the eyes of all those who remember went to the other side of Luther looking for Woody... "Myler, Burrell, Wood, WOOD!"

Where's Haskell these days?

So ted hill is so fast he could be on the wing, why not try get him playing centre then? Backline is massively contested as stated so but centre is such a shallow spot for England.

Why do people think it’s so simple to convert from back row to centre ? It’s a very specialised position
@Dihedrals3 ай бұрын
@@marcdaniels9079 was just food for thought, there ain’t room for him in the England squad and we need some big outside threats. I’m sure it wouldn’t be a natural transition and would never realistically happen but we keep getting these dynamic back rows like simmonds etc that could do a job at centre given their athletic abilities

So much better with out that motor mouth Haskell on the show. I actually really really enjoyed this episode as he was not there and all were so articulate. Get rid of him.

77 cap Haskell definitely has no idea about rugby... 😅 If you want to live in a echo chamber, then go ahead but trying to cancel someone just because you personally don't enjoy it is pathetic... How many caps do you have? 🤔

I love Haskell. He does go on a bit but the other guys give enough balance to keep him in check. And he knows his rugby!

Every podcast listened to this week has indeed added to the team-talk for the Bath boys for Saturday. Have not heard a single podcaster/commentator/pundit back Bath. Saints undoubtedly good. Yes, the best all season. But you do now have all the pressure too, as apparently everyone absolutely expects you to win. Good but not unbeatable - finals rugby chaps. COYB 🔵⚫⚪🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 And i am going on Saturday and yes i will have a tear or 2 if Bath lose, but will still applaud Saints for the team that they are. Without doubt consistently the best away fans to come down to The Rec ⚫🟢🟡

There are many, and most say it’s going to be a tight game with Saints edging it. If everyone was saying it’s a definite saints win then I get your point but they aren’t. Saints aren’t massive favourites but when you boil down to previous big game experience this year in addition to club legends leaving, this is where the fine margins come in.

I think most people are swayed towards saints because they have been brilliant all season and incredibly consistent, especially in Europe. I just hope it’s a tight game as a neutral I can’t wait
