Wonderful podcast. The Samaritans saved my life; if it wasn't for a call to them on Nov 4th '23, I wouldn't be typing this comment now. Please reach out to them or other organisations if you're struggling.

Hasks impression of w*@king off a turkey shows what snooker players do when they retire!!! Plus never seen Alex look so awkward! Another great and hilarious pod gents! Joyeux Noël 🎉

Bumface and pretty boy. Love it, what a partnership. The late eighties/early nineties was a great era for English rugby.

The presenters are great EXCEPT for Haskell who believes he is more than what he really is. In my opinion he is a narcissist and quite honestly an irritating bugger. He interrupts his guests and believes he knows more than anyone else. Love it when he is put in his place and absolutely enjoyed the Marler incident on the field. Cheers from SA

Not sure why there are so many “doom sayers” commenting on this episode re Women’s Rugby. Personally I think the women’s game deserves more airtime than it gets. Yes it’s not as popular as Women’s football, but it’s the same in the men’s game. People can watch one game a week on the PWR KZbin channel as well as highlights. Yes some of the commentators are a bit wooden, but listen to some ex footballers who comment on TV and they can hardly string a sentence together. A great way to end 2024. Keep it up and looking forward to more episodes next year.
When all the media tells people scrums are boring, fans agree. New fans are always very amazed when they see scrums for the first time.

Don’t think Borthwick has any choice other than to name at least 2 of these guys in the six nations. Forget the rubbish of how they won’t mature till mid late 20s . Let England write a new script with these props and let them loose. They getting time with their respective clubs and enough experiance to help them with Genge and Stuart . Feel these young props can already hold their own against wales Italy and Scotland.

My favourite part of following the pod since the house of rugby days and into where it is now is the development of Jonny May. Some podcasts overwhelm the people who speak slightly softer or odder but this one lets him flow and glow and im really happy for that. My fav arc is the Jonny May getting comfortable talking , in terms of the podcast episodes. Aswell as Mike knowing Jonny is Gold and helping him out when things begin to become awkward, thats teamwork.

We sat watching the Northern Rugby section and both my wife and I lamented that a North of England team in Celtic challenge would not be possible. I understand the limits of the Unions set up and RFU funding but imagine PWR level and then 2nd division or development Celtic Challenge level but both spread accross the 4 nations.
