It is compulsory to change oil filter in 1st service bcoz due to wear and tear of new parts, micro metal debris gets trapped inside the oil filter. And there is a chance that few such debris can escape and mix with new oil and circulate inside the engine if old oil filter is not replaced. As Hero SVC mostly deals with commuter bikes that doesn't have external oil filter, they don't seem to have the habit of replacing oil filter.

In order to clean or replace oil strainer in karizma one has to open the rh case. This is unnecessary complication. In ns200 and rs200 one can easily access the oil strainer by removing the oil drain bolt. One more point is that the water pump hose is attached to the rh case. He should not let it dangle like that. In the long run coolant may leak. Better to remove the hose and then remove the rh case.

@@AJR7-motomystique I noticed one more thing. Since water pump is on the rh case everytime you want to change clutch plate and also whenever you have to clean strainer you have to drain the coolant. This could have been avoided had hero placed the water pump in front of the rh cover like in ns200 and rs200. I see this also as an unnecessary complication. Hero should do better engineering.

Engine to achhi bnata hai brother , reliable hote hai. But uski regular servicing kaisi ho rahi hai bat ispe bhi depend karta hai. Suppose agar har bar servicing achha nhi ho rha , engine ko jo chahiye wo nhi mil rha to damn fix hai ki bike 2,3 sal me hi apna potential kho dega. Mere pas Hero Xtreme 160r bhi hai , jiska maine 4 sal se regular servicing krate aa rha hu or abhi tak bike ke engine se ek halki si bhi noise nhi ati. Bike fully new condition me hai , distance bhi 45000 kms cover ho gyi hai. Kuchh bike ki engine hi bekar hoti hai , chahe jitna bhi care karlo hmesha bekar performance deti hai. But specially KARIZMA XMR ka engine kafi powerful hai. Bas regular servicing milna chahiye. Hope ap samajh gye honge mai kya khna chahta hu 😊

If you physically shake the visor, it will move, but at high speeds and on bad roads, it never seems to create annoying noise or vibrate.

I guess usd indian roads ke liye sahi nahi hai bcoz usd main suspension main moving part niche hota hai to usme dirt lagna bahut common hai jo oil seal ko jaldi break kar dega isse fork oil leak ho sakta hai. And oil seal bahut menge aate hain. @@AJR7-motomystique

No buddy, it's not common ❌. There could be several reasons for this issue: *Idle speed adjustment*: The idle speed might need adjustment, potentially causing the bike to idle at a higher RPM than normal. Please check if this adjustment is necessary. *Throttle Cable Adjustment*: There might be an issue with the throttle cable adjustment, preventing it from fully releasing when the throttle is closed. *Mechanical Issue*: It could be a mechanical issue with the throttle body, leading to incomplete closure. Given that the bike is new, options 1 and 2 seem more plausible. I suggest visiting another service center to have these aspects thoroughly checked. Don't worry my friend this is not a big problem. Asani se solve ho jayega, kisi local shop pe bhi ya fir kisi better service centre me bhi.

Bhai ye Hero ke engineers ko kya bimaari hai pata nai.... Ye Oil Strainer/Screen Filter ko clean karne ke liye poora coolant nikaalo, clutch cover kholo.... Apne service technicians ke baare mein nai sochte inlog..... Oil Strainer/Screen Filter baahar se hi nikal jaaye aisa kuch system dena chahiye taaki har oil change mein vo clean ho paaye ..... Sirf 2 bolt aur ek o ring dena hai vo cover mein baahar se aur kitna easy aur fast ho jaayega sab kuch..... Coolant nikaalne ki bhi zarurat nai, Customer ke Clutch gasket ke paise bhi bachenge.... Oil leakage aane ka bhi risk nai......

If you are beginner rider, go for Karizma. If not and want to upgrade from previous bike then NS400Z. Both are different and if mileage is concern then go for Karizma.

Yes brother it is more costly than other brands and Castrol is a reputed and trusted brand even then their fully synthetic oil is cheaper than Hero. I tested both engine oils , not much differences in their quality. What can we do now 😔 it is what it is 😅.
