As someone who’s played OTT since Limit Break, I can attest and agree to the fact that even though the clan is primarily scry, it takes a lot of play testing to understand how the decks work. I say decks because OTT has so many sub type decks that it just has versatile cards for its majority and very small name locked. If anything the deck/clan’s main thing IS guard restrict, majority of the time when you get Ichi-Tom out you just scry for the crits. That’s why we mostly play 12 crit 4 heals.

unless im missing something the luard crest just says you can't ride anything that doesn't have luard in the name so you can play dragfall just like jet can play g or z and shiranui can use zanki

Yeah I genuinely agree on all of this. Gredora is the best newbie bully now. But generally the deck crumbled from the slightest touch that gredora lock didn't do much. Megacolony need new stride really

Resident Megacolony player here. If you want a megacolony stride to see play over gredora then enabling multiattack is basically a MUST at this point.

@amari7782 ofcourse if multiattacking was the only thing it did then sure. I was moreso thinking it would have to be a direct alternative to Gredora. Maybe it's still a VG Stun but instead of "you can't call anything except from hand" it's like "put cradle markers on all your opponents RGs and your opponent cannot guard with PGs" So instead of just saying you can't play it's like "you can play but whatever you do I'm gonna get alot of hand advantage"

@amari7782 it's a weird position where boshiroad can't ban Gredora without making megacolony the objective worst clan, but they are also too affriad to print any strides that is on a similar powerlevel to gredora

wait may i ask zeroth dragon dust it says remove abilities right until end of turn so when my oppenents turn like if they manage to survive do they get their abilities back because dust says until end of my turn ?

It’s only until the end of your turn, once their turn rolls around, theyll have your abilities back.

Back in the day before V Series, it was a rule that you can only guard with cards from your hand whose grades were equal to or lower than your VG, so if you were playing with the old rules, you could only guard with grade 0s and 1s. But even under the current rules, the only cards that you can’t guard with under Dust are G Guards since they require both players vanguards to be Grade 3 or greater, so since your VG is grade 1, that ability is no longer accessible for that turn. Sorry I didn’t see your message up until now but I hope that cleared things up. 🙏

I disagree on the thavas placement, without the ride down the deck just gets outscaled by a bunch of other decks. Thavas just feels way too fair

I think people try to down play highlander hard the plays the deck has is really really strong going first and hitting anezka or sacking pearl sisters great. Sure it can't just get everything it needs right then but you can't have everything or you broken

The problem with the deck (I play it alongside a lot of others) is that it is very high roll in the way it wins most of its games. If you miss your Raindear reride targets, your multi attack turns from Heltrauda suddenly get a lot less scary. When you do end up getting those crazy turns where you go like Tirua with Systico, swing Heltrauda bounce everything then return them, swing Raindear then hit Loura/Olyvia/Lupina and you attack like ten times for 2 CB's, the deck feels insane and with the new additions of the trick or treat "denial griffin" G guard combos, the deck feels a lot safer to play defence with. But compare that to the current landscape. Katrina swings 6 times every turn 40k plus with force 2 for next to no cost and scales up like a crest deck, Shiranui rips cards out of your hand as you ride up and continues to do so into the late game with 50-60k restanders and potentially insane guard restrict, Granblue draws an insane amount of cards if they hit a single good G2 ride and then perma scales into force deck type numbers with accel deck levels of multi attacking while being a protect deck etc. Narukami is self explanatory as well.

@antonypistachio5476 you are correct you miss a good ride off raindear and you hurt.... just like how gb and nn get cucked by a meh deck in gredora but nobody is insane enough to try to say they aren't up there. Buy you don't have to take my word.... the deck continues to do what it always does.... gets results

@@rongill1234 I am not saying it is bad, I just won a shop challenge with it lol. I'm saying over the course of a tournament the variance is very high because you're running all 1-ofs in the deck so sometimes the luck will just not be there for extended periods of time and it lacks draw power as well. The auto win against Link Joker is nice though.

@antonypistachio5476 the auto win vs link joker the cherry on top lol. Last 2 springfests my team ended up playing the same team and the guy in my spot always played cbd... last year when he saw me he looked at his teammates and said well you guys gotta win this cause I'm auto losing and I lold

@@rongill1234 It's so fucking funny how bad that match up is. It's like the only deck that laughs off even the calling from top of deck or hand. You legit just immediately swing Heltrauda and get two rear guards back and can still swing another 5-6 times lmfao
