@@hebdomatical It is in the description: "The Premiumropes Softlash is a clever shackle substitute for ultra-high loads to connect sheets and halyards safely to the sail."

@@hebdomaticalthe thumbnail is the only place this seems to be illustrated but basically the friction ring in the instructional video would be spliced in an eye at the end of a sheet or halyard and used like a thimble. This is a poor shackle though, with no set noose the knot could slip out under load. That Velcro is for looks.
