We're throwing caution to the wind We are consistent in our flaws Predictably, we have no goals Incapable of abstract thoughts Wondering how long it might take to be through I can't improve, I can't improve, I can't improve Some good ideas split in two So solemn and melancholy Another thing that you can do Unwillingly for some money We're absolutely obsolete Intolerant and overheating Leaving our footprints in the concrete There's nothing left here to compete for Degrade into a fraction of yourself Degrade into a fraction of yourself Degrade into a fraction of yourself Wondering how long it might take to be through I can't improve, I can't improve, I can't improve

Viet cong and preoccupations are the same band. I think they sound pretty different from women as well.

Who's is Cindy Lee? Is it a solo project or a group effort? I stumbled across Malenkost and have been obsessed, but confused ever since. I can't find a physical copy anywhere (I've read that there was a limited release of some cassettes). Does anyone have any information on that act/project?

Cindy Lee is a project by Patrick Flegel, the brother of Matt Flegel, who is the bassist and vocalist for Preoccupations. Matt formed viet cong after women split up, and Patrick formed Cindy Lee.

It’s almost obscene how good this band is. I’ve loved their shit since VietCong and Women, and year after year, I come back to this monument of an album

Interpol, Protomartyr, Thee Oh Sees, Besnard Lakes, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Low, Wolf Parade... post-punk is a really broad genre, it's not all necessarily approached as frigid as this.

erichllenz Yeah? I guess I'm sorry for not having the same opinion as you. I said i'm neutral as of right now, weird to think that opinions of no extremity trigger people. I loved Women and Viet Cong, I'm just being cautious as they let me wade in different waters bro, calm yourself.
