I invested in a pair of black and brown leather Mary Jane shoes and I just can't wait for the temperatures to get colder to wear them!

In the Black community, the bubble coat/vest are always in style. It’s literally a staple for us. I have many variations from Athleta and they are amazing.

Jules no need to apologize! I love your sarcasm, passion and the info you give. I have referenced your videos all week as I have been building my fall capsule wardrobe. I have such a hard time with tees being a rectangle shape and short torso. I don’t have any hips for the half tuck to flow on in the back. It’s weird. Longer crop tees are the answer but so hard to find in a supima cotton or high quality. But sweater season is coming!

Hi Jules. Great points. I recall watching a video and there is a "proper" way to say button-down or button-up. You should probably Google it because I don't recall exactly. When butlers would dress men the buttons were sewn on the left side. That side made it easier for the butler to do "up" because most were right-handed. When women started wearing those type of shirts women were dressing themselves. Buttons were sewn on the right-hand side and women would "button-down". I'm not sure if I got that completely correct but it was something like that and that's why there is a difference. Great tips.

Boots is always the best in fall! Horse riding style below knee. Yes agree I've always tied my blazers with belts, coats, even shirts & some dresses I tie in the back. My short torso just can't wear belts. Except stretchy belts real thin. Belts on any of my wardrobe just never looks right tied at my waist. Not comfortable & does nothing for my figure. Love your tips really ❤

I call them button-front shirts or just shirts. Shirts are any top with a front opening, regardless of fabric, style details, etc. A blouse has a back opening, or just pulls over the head, again, regardless of fabric or style. A button-down is a style of shirt with a specific collar design, the collar buttons down onto the body of the shirt.

You have great videos! The background of this one is sooo Cosy. Love it how you said your cashmere sweater is the only piece that held well. Are all the other pieces with acrylic fabric? That would explain why thy don't last long. It's sooo great to invest in a quality piece and to have and cherish it years to come, don't you think?

Lol, I call them both.... But I think it is a 90s term..... The flannels were button downs.
