On top of that…I regularly hose off the engine to rinse away dirt and grime and keep it clean…makes working on it much better..plus being able to spot leaks easily and I won’t forget to mention …change the horn fluid and check those muffler bearings…😂😂

I agree 100%. Always nice to work on a clean engine. Yes, good point about being able to spot leaks. Thanks for watching, and sharing your tips. Hope you'll check out some of my other videos. Cheers, Mike

Im not heading out on a road trip or anything, but I’m about to be living out of my car and doing DoorDash. I figure it’s similar enough to do all this to future proof it for the next year or half a year

If you are going to be living in your car and working out of it maintenance is going to be critical for your survival. I would recommend learning about your vehicle as much as possible and staying on top of ALL maintenance.

Fram is the orange box of death...use a Purolator boss
@RoadTripTravel4 ай бұрын
Is that right? I've been using FRAM since I was a kid, only had one issue, but it was user error. The damn rubber gasket was left behind from the old filter, when I put the new one on it was not seated, so when I started the engine, oil went all over the place. It was a mess. That had never happened to me before and I've been changing my own oil for decades. Thanks for watching, hope you'll check out some of my other videos. Cheers, Mike
