Preparation for a SOLO overnight PACKRAFTING trip down the Bow River

Getting ready for an overnight packrafting trip. I show some of the additional gear that I bring compared to a standard backpacking trip.
My backpacking gear:

Water bottle: Nalgene wide mouth 16 Oz (1 litre)
Light: THRUNITE model Ti3 LED micro flashlight

Last year I did a bunch of floats down that same route. My mom came from Ontario so we wanted to take her down the Bow... after having many successful floats I was feeling maybe over confident and got our raft hung up on a rock and it popped (not long after we launched) Luckily my husband and daughter were in a separate raft and we were able to tow the broken one back and all 4 of us had to float back in a 2 man raft. We ended up stopping at WildCat to regroup and explore it’s a really neat spot. Despite the mess up it was a lot of fun my mom always says she loves her “Wild West adventures “ lol Enjoy your trip!

Go to the hardware store and buy a roll of Tyvek tape. It's amazing stuff, and perfect for repairing rafts. I walked around the whole island yesterday. Saw a deer, eagles, geese and a very nervous raven. Cheers.

Thanks, you too! I had it on my life jacket for the last 2 days and it worked perfectly. I have room in it for a roll of tin-foil and some razor blades. Not sure what else I can put in there.

would be cool if you could double use your paddle as the tent pole. maybe just need a little coupler?

That would be cool. I also throught about using a walking stick (which I'm not bringing on this trip). I'm confident I'll find a good stick. The tent also has a loop so I can hang it under a tree or on a ridge line. Cheers Trevor.
