Thanks this video is very helpful. One question please, I’m a complete novice, if if don’t have a charger, can I simply put new battery (once filled) back in scooter and then start scooter. As in, would running the scooter’s engine charge the battery by itself? Thanks 👍🏻

Yes the motorcycle has a voltage regulator, which when the motorcycle is working charges the battery. If you ride the motorcycle a lot, you don't have to worry. The problem with batteries is when the motorcycle goes for a while without riding, the batteries are discharging and spoiling, in which case you must have a charger to keep the battery healthy. By the way, the battery must be at least a Yuasa.

Do you know how to check the autonator / stator for resistance because my lml is only getting 11v when running

Good afternoon. You have to check the load voltage regulator, this part usually fails. I do not know the resistance value but measure and see the cabling if it is not interconnected. However it is preparing money for a new regulator.

@@Cantinho72 I just checked the resistance and it's with in what it should be but the output voltage for the lights off the stator blue wire is not reading anything well 1.6 volts

Measure all the wiring in a mass and ground for the selection of the direction there is no wiring interruption or ground passage. If everything is ok, it can only be the regulator or the battery that does not accept charge.

@@Cantinho72 the lights are not working as well and that's what the blue wire does off the stator but the other 3 wires the resistance is OK going by the manual.. Just no voltage output on the blue wire.
