The gap between the poor and ultra rich will never close. I asked myself once if we theoretical split every penny in the world equal to every living being.(fresh start) It wil take no longer then a year to see there will be a difference allready even if everyone has the same income. Some people can handle money -> saving/investing it, others are not educated or dumb and waste it. The idea of equal wealth is a children's fairy tale. In the end, money makes money ;) Good video Andrei!

In Turkey's case, the genius behind the government decided that the inflation is a problem caused by high interest rates so he ordered (yes) the central bank to lower the interest rates for fighting high inflation. The government statistics agency kept announcing half the actual inflation rate but people didn't buy it. Everybody started investing in anything but Turkish Lira, because it was stupid to keep your money in bank for 10% interest where the real inflation was over 100%.
