I am a minor prepper, but to be realistic in realizing that God is in control, No Amount of preparing could have helped those people who were wiped off the maps by Helene...NONE. If what happened to them were to have happened to me, all that I have prepared for would be gone. I mean, even living in the mountains didn't help those who got hit...think of that...the MOUNTAINS. Just know that God ways and doing things as the Spirit directs us is key. All else could prove vain. Considering all that happened with Helene, it sure speaks loudly to me. Helene means "Torch" Shines a light on some major truths about Who is truly in Control, because it isn't man. Even owning solar panels that could have helped keep power going with loss of electricity would have been useless, because all of that would have been swept away. Not trying to discourage anyone from preparing, because I try to stay prepared, but giving something to think about relative to putting our faith and ways in God's direction and not on our own understanding of things.

Not many people understand what the GOV is doing and has done in the past, which will be very catastrophic for everyone. Not being able to see means not being able to drive not being able to drive means not being able to get anywhere fast. Yes, I can depend on others on transportation, but if people are not seeing what is to come or not willing to prepare themselves and their families I just have to hunker down and think, talk, and act by the spirit of God. If anyone have suggestions for a blind person to better prepare, your comments are welcomed if they are truly sincere to help out. 8:45

That’s a question a good many people that watch this video are not going to ask. @@wannaduckfin Well, yes. It doesn’t hurt to have contingency plans or be willing to adapt in a fluid scenario. The problem when discussing this is you have short and long term scenarios and a wide variety of scenarios that may be possible. Generally speaking your best bet is to prepare with a few simple things, develop a few simple skills and areas of knowledge, stay calm, stay put and help each other out. Things become more difficult and complicated as you need a place to bug out to. Otherwise you are just a refugee that ends up walking around hoping you find a place to live better than the one you left. It’s also not going to be what the vast majority of people expect in a scenario that fleeing the cities is the best option, and a lot of folks are going to be introduced to reality in the harshest way possible.

I'm new so forgive me if I'm not fully up to speed? But I am familiar with public wildlife areas and you best be prepared for many neighbors. Then you become a target. All become a target. Then if you try to bug out on private property you then have that land owner to deal with and all that are with him or her during such a situation. I have lived in Big Cities and small towns. Each is it's own beast. In my opinion, stashed food and water, a plan and weapons for defense. Plan on moving. You stop moving when you find a solid place or a community of descent people.
@DVS783 ай бұрын
Them public wildlife areas you seen what happened to national Forest in covid they shut them down from the public so s hits the fan all the more so they'll shut those down also. And in some of them they're only open for deer season in hunting season you have to be hunting to be on that property overnight. And you're exactly right the property owners who have actually been here that ain't new people that moved in the country 10/20 years ago but actually have been living working and supporting their community with the oil wells and the farming and the homesteads definitely don't want no 100 plus people showing up on their property out of the blue and there's going to be millions flying out of these cities so that's just going to create more chaos in war. People need to fix where they come from and take care of their own backyard instead of impeding on others. I know it sounds harsh but that's what it's going to get down to I know many of people who are just sick and tired of watching for 20-30 years of people moving into the country who really don't belong there cuz they didn't come out here to farm and make money no they want to just live out here enjoy the life but make and spend their money everywhere else and do nothing for wildlife farmingin conservation they just want the easy way out and it doesn't work that way I know there's a lot of people that we have seen these people come out from the city into the countryside and I know a lot of them if the war breaks down those people are going to lose their property and ran out only family generational farms and oil rig boys are going to keep everything together

I do have supplies for bugging in especially in case of earthquake, but leaving wouldn't make much of a difference unless we're being invaded or direct attack.

The whole bugout thing needs to be looked upon as having different levels. The small backpack with a few water straws, a few methods of fire starting, a few snacks, a knife, gloves, a touque, hoodie, a pair of spare underwear, some bandaides and a radio would equate to roughing it and suffering badly in the woods for a short period of time! Next stage would be a bugout dolly where you have a wall tent, a small rocket stove, some tools and the above bugout bag items and maybe a bit more food/MRE's, hunting rifle and some basic tools. Third stage bugout would be a quad with bugout trailer with wall tent, wood stove, water filtration or a well point with hand pump, a larger supply of food supplies, larger assortment of hand tools and saws, small inverter and deep cycle battery and solar panel, assortment of different lengths of scews, nails, hinges and latches so as to build more permanent shelter, tarps, seeds, barter items in the event there was no returning to your now murauded home

The problem with bugging out is its very time sensitive. If you have a 30 min commute home when something pops off it's almost too late to try. The other problem is everyone else is going to the mountains. There will be massive conflict and competition for those resources that it provides. Not saying don't have bugging out as a plan but it should not be your primary plan. Bugging in should be first. That normal 30 min commute could take several hours or even days due to gridlock and general mayhem. Bugging out as a primary plan only works if you have an advanced warning (ie. News or some sort of inside alert) and are able to get out while everyone is business as usual.

The bottom line, most of the chaos will happen because people are unable to adapt mentally to things they've never had to do before. I know people who have prepper gear, but they don't use it regularly, when SHTF, they still aren't mentally prepared for the abrupt change in lifestyle. Mistakes will be made, things will get lost, accidents will happen. So it's not enough to have this stuff, you also have to use it every day during grid up.

The fear/concern you (and others) are feeling for the current state of our country is REAL. The concerns that many Americans have for the direction that the U.S is going in are because we can see our once great country spiraling out of control!! The #1 MOST IMPORTANT thing that we need to do as a country/people is get our lives RIGHT with the Lord. We are in the GREATEST SPIRITUAL WARFARE between good & evil that humanity has seen, literally. We are spiritual beings, & the Lord created us to have a relationship with Him. So, when we sense something is off in the world, that is because something is off; we're feeling the spiritual darkness that is on the earth. And the only way out of being engulfed by it is through a personal relationship with Christ. John 10:10 says, "The thief comes to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
@albertovieira48443 ай бұрын
@-gordon3817 Ecclesiastes 1:9-11 says, "What has happened before will happen again. What has been done before will be done again. There is nothing new in this world." No one knows the day or the hour (Matthew 24:36-51; Luke 21:34-36) 32 But no one knows the date or hour when the end will come, not even the angels or the Son of God. Only the Father knows. 33 Therefore keep watch, because you do not know when this will happen. 34 My coming is like a man who went on a journey to another country and assigned his servants to do their work while he was away. He told the doorkeeper to keep watch on what was going on around him. 35 Therefore keep watch, because you do not know when the master of the house will come-at evening, at midnight, at cockcrow, or in the morning. 36 Do not let me find you sleeping! 37 “Be alert for my return.” This is my recommendation to you and to everyone else.

Rural folk should big in because ten neighbors with rifles is comparable to an average smaller police dept at any one time🎉 essentially rural folks know each other for the most part and will have to defend, where do I bug out if I'm already bugged. 20 miles from Raleigh for example. Almost everyone here will die 3-20 days of exposure almost anywhere, mostly due to contaminated water and lack of basic fire building skills, which if you light a fire 🔥 good luck😂 honestly we will have to band together quickly and form new government to quell localities from absolute destruction. Im a survivor of social mayhem in LA riots when they targeted Caucasians & Asians, also been overseas where there was social unrest and war. If you have observed, during a time of civil unrest you will be urged to stay inside your homes and fortify your homes. It is your choice. However in a situation where missiles are hitting your cities like in Israel Iran Ukraine etc, your govt will force you to go into your home bunker or nearest bomb shelter. once the bombing has subsided a bit the govt will ask you to immediately evacuate by foot or by modes of transportation. In a very dire situation such as shtf, you would eventually want to bug out to the wilderness and hide from the enemy and marauders.bring a luggage for your stuff, a good example was during ukraine war where ppl had to flee by foot and luggages, strollers, and shopping carts where valuable to have. In case your house is being burned down during a social mayhem, just bug in specially if you have a panic room or bunker inside your home.

I have to admit. I’m now at the point where I have to recommend you stop warning people to leave the city. Many of them are largely useless when it comes to actually producing food or doing much of any value out here… Doctors, dentists, auto mechanics, or welders. Possibly. We don’t need any more Realtors, Lawyers, or Customer Service phone support people when resources get tight. If they REALLY cared for their survival they should have left the city 10+ years ago, integrated into a rural community and developed a support system there. Just showing up with their hands out or maybe a single car load of supplies when shit gets tough is nothing but a liability, a risk when they get super hungry, and a drain on the rural resources of a community that has gotten by without people with their kind of ‘life skills.”

First of all who is “they” you’re talking about? The elite? The government? Feds? Gangsters? Zombies? Staving people? Address that first. I’m a military veteran and EMS worker so let me shed some light here. I’m not bashing you but people have got to think outside the normal confines of society. Here we go: 1. Government/Feds/Elite: “martial law” is a joke. They won’t have manpower. The unit I work with right now is down by AT LEAST half of what they should be to deploy. Our capital police have stated they are down by almost 3 quarters what they need. Fire departments are down. They simply won’t have manpower to do more than barely try to control cities during chaos. They’re not coming out to your local compound to engage in gunfights over your supplies until WAY later. Forget that. 2. Starving people/zombies: Maybe some might stagger onto your location. It would be better to help them and ask that they contribute to helping you maintain your property with extra hands rather than gunning them down. You’ll need more time to work on other things. Have them help with gardening and any skills they have. Maybe you’ll have a doctor and his family show up. Or a mechanic. THINK before you shoot. 3. Gangsters/looters: ehhh maybe. They’re typically going to be spending time in the city taking advantage of the chaos, MOST will get shot down and or detained before they ever have the idea or start looking outside the city. Have some dogs and good security, you’ll be fine. 4. Rednecks: probably your number one thing to watch for are other “country folk”. If they have bad intentions they can be your most lethal threat. But try to work with people too.
