As a witness... the admiration of Jesus towards a baby in his arms or a sunset in the sky would not move him to fear himself, as if taking credit for his own creation, but gazing upon the marvel of a newly born child and the glory of a sunset sky would move Jesus to admire the awesome work of the hands of his God! Far be it from us to imagine the great example of all to follow would ever take credit of himself for any achievement. For it is written... Hebrews 5:7-9 BBE(i) 7 Who in the days of his flesh, having sent up prayers and requests with strong crying and weeping to him who was able to give him salvation from death, had his prayer answered because of his fear of God. 8 And though he was a Son, through the pain which he underwent, the knowledge came to him of what it was to be under God's orders; 9 And when he had been made complete, he became the giver of eternal salvation to all those who are under his orders

I concur with Ps Guzik's point tt we are faced with 3 enemies ... the devil, the culture of the world around us n our flesh = me, I n myself ... May I unashamedly share my belief in Christ when given the opportunity.

Are we really supposed to believe that God HAD, truly, revealed himself to those who, despite having witnessed all the signs of Jesus, did not believe in him? Does God lack the power of attraction? Isaiah 53:1 CLV(i) 1 Who believes our report? And the arm of Yahweh--to whom is it revealed? This notion that God is not able to convince the world of Himself reminds me of the intercession of Moses on behalf of the children of Israel when God threatened to destroy them and raise up another people for Himself... As a witness... our God is mighty to save! Yet every man in his own order! Numbers 14:11-16 VIN(i) 11 The LORD said to Moses, "How long will this people despise me? And how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have worked among them? 12 I will smite them with the pestilence, and destroy them, and will make of thee a nation greater and mightier than they. 13 Moses said to the LORD, "Then the Egyptians will hear it; for you brought up this people in your might from among them; 14 And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that you LORD are among this people, that you LORD are seen face to face, and that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them, by daytime in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night. 15 "But if you kill all these people at the same time the nations who have heard these reports about you will say, 16 "the LORD was not able to bring these people into the land he promised them, so he slaughtered them in the desert.

Those with no strange god before them, who are undefiled with women for they are virgins, are a witness of the good news of the ages. (Rev14:4-6) Unto these has God revealed the mystery of His will of the dispensation of the fulness of times to gather together all things in Christ. (Eph1:9-11) There is no justice in endless misery and suffering by the hands of the God who is operating all in accord with the counsel of His will. 2 Timothy 2:19 CLV(i) 19 Howbeit, the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: The Lord knew those who are His, and, Let everyone who is naming the name of the Lord withdraw from injustice.

Well said, very interesting comparison!

@@DavidGuzikEnduringWord Compare the alternative translations of 2Tim2:19. Are we supposed to believe that Paul is suggesting those who desire to "call" upon the LORD (as if he wrote the word "epikaleó" instead of "onomazó") must first depart from iniquity? As in, "Hey, if you want my help, you're gonna have to depart from injustice first." I don't think so. For it is written, "who gives to the LORD first that he shoukd repay?" (Rom11:35) To be "onomazó" naming the [onoma] name of the LORD is to identify with his true nature and reputation. These so "naming" the name of Yahweh are permitted to depart from injustice. These are no longer locked up in stubborness and held captive in their minds concerning vain conversation received by tradition from our fathers. Those unable to believe in the signs are not permitted to do so. Not until the time set by God. Only then is the arm of the LORD revealed. Only then is the report concerning Jesus is believed.
