I liked the double Parkinsonia with some exposed body chambers - it was only the very centre that wasn't preserved. The Cenoceras was beautiful too and Scunthorpe specimens are always fantastic, even more so with multiples on the block.

Thanks. I cant complain with my haul this time though I'm not a fan of the ripped parkies. I was hoping they would take back. They obviously can be a bit fickle. I'll certainly be back down south for some more!

Hi there, I think the Parkinsonia at 12:40 is parkinsoni, not rarecostata (the one at 10:00 is, IMHO), and maybe the big chunky one at 4:15 could be P. dorsetensis. The one at 12:00 could be Vermisphinctes. Hope it helps

Thanks. I'll check those out

Volume 39 of Der Steinkern is not a bad reference for those Bajocian ammonites from Burton Bradstock, as it focusses on Sengenthal, which is a similar exposure to BB with a lot of the same and similar ammonites.

Thanks I'll see if I can get a copy

I think that first awful big ammonite is either Bigotites or Procerites. Google seems to suggest it's a Biggo. Weird that a lot of the Burton stuff is a bit nasty.

I suspected proceratites but not 100%
