The image is not too bad for this price point. I do see a bit of frame drop or "jitter" when there is movement. I don't know if that is SD card dependent. Like, if using a high speed, name brand card would resolve that. But the big thing for me, as nice as this cam seems to be, it doesn't look like it would be easy to clip it to clothing with the screen facing the body instead of out where people can see themselves being recorded. UNLESS, there's an option to have the display be off while recording.... that could be acceptable, I guess. The audio is really good on this camera. I've been hesitating on getting a body cam because so many have really crappy audio. Either too low, or just not crystal clear. Or both issues. So you've had this 4 months now. How do you like it after this time? Oh, I forgot, with the night time use, where there are street lights and such, can the camera be kept in color mode? Some cameras can produce good color with very low lux. I have 2 dash cams that are excellent that way? Can it be kept in color mode with lower lux? Thanks in advance.

Great review (SUBBED!) and I like how you focus on how detailed the screenshots are. Do the cam settings allow video recording without audio? (In my state you can't record audio without all-party consent.)

Yes that was covered in the video. It was the part when I was going over the menu and said that you can turn the audio off and on for recording. But it was only like a split second so in a 20 minute video it was probably easy to miss 😂👍 So in short yes you can turn the audio off.

not seeing vast improvements over the 22 tbh. was hoping for better image stabilization, if anything i think its worse as if you pause a fast moving scene on the 22 the still you get is less blurry than on the 23, but i think the 23 is better in the carpark at night etc. most of the time you just want proof of 'who hit who' and even if a little blurry this would capture that with no problems.

Is there a way to disable the IR lights while recording in night vision mode? I can't find it anywhere in the manual and I need to turn them off while still seeing in IR.

Yeah you hold down the button that turns it on. It works whilst recording as well.

In the span of 5 years the video quality didn't improve that much for these bodycams I do wish they used old Sony lens with eis atleast Won't mind a 2-3mp 1080p recorder

I purchased this model based on a positive review. To my surprise, the SD card included in the package cannot be recognized by my MacBook; it displays an error message stating "card not recognized." If you're considering buying this product, make sure to also purchase a branded SD card. I also noticed that ejecting the SD card is quite challenging because you really have to make a concerted effort to pry the rubber lock with your nail.

I didn't like it... The battery didn't last very long and Boblov has issues quite often with communicating with computers...

Remove the SD card and put it into the computer. I personally Never plug a camera like this directly into the computer. BOBLOV is no exception. Call me a conspiracy theorist 😂👍. As far as the battery not lasting very long from your experience, my test was a real time runtime test with the ir illuminator on. It was more than plenty of runtime to record an event. I typically start recording when I believe something might go down. I wouldn't just leave it on all day. , however I can see the battery life becoming significantly reduced over time. It has a limited water resistance, if it gets wet from direct rain there could be an issue. I couldn't find any straight forward answers on an ipx rating anywhere.
