I would love for you to come out with a series for SHTF training and a good training regiment. I know you have touched on it before, but would love to almost have a daily or weekly training guide. Thanks for what you do.

I used to do a good full range of motion workout, all body weight. I was the most strong and fit I could ever be. I like your approach and will be changing up my routine. Thanks.

If you wanna see squats go to Thailand (or Asia in general). They sit like that for hours working and I didn't see any knee problems. But I totally agree on doing a bit of everything.

What books or videos did you learn from. Sounds like you have a college level certification of some kind like National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

I have been training since I was very young. I competed in college. I had a couple mentors while in college that were also my professors. I graduated with my bachelors in Exercise Science and did an internship with Coach Reeves who was very respected in the field.

I was going to make a generalized statement but in todays society may not be accurate, but you never use to see farmer, ranchers or construction workers in the gym because they didn’t have the time or the need.Today with modern conveniences and “super” size portions you get a fat society . Not trying to throw stones but just look at the general size of the people in this video. In the 50’s and60’s pt class would be equivalent to the SEALs obstacle course today, just look at old film of gym classes. We used to play ball hockey at recess, pretty much full contact and I don’t remember anyone gassing out or getting seriously hurt.

That sure does help. Then go hunt and fish in the wilderness with any other spare time keep us in shape. These days processing, stacking and carrying wood is great to keep in shape.
