Seven years ago my oldest friends wife had an experimental treatment that took her from stage 4 lymphoma to cancer free!!! Sending you oceans of love from across the pond in Minnesota!

they may offer you a warm blanket. As soon as we walk into the cancer center here, they give my dad (going through chemo) and even me (accompanying him) a warm blanket. Feels soooo nice! If you feel a chill, throw a blanket into the dryer for 5 min. or so to heat up. :) Love to see all of the wonderful support you have. You got this!

Yes! I am a nurse, and I can verify we have a "blanket warmer" on most floors. You can request a toasty blanket, fresh out of the oven 😊

So good to see all those who love you smother you with visits and gifts. The light green coat definitely fits you the best, looked really good on. Matt is super, just the right man for you, so very generous. The chemo does cause you to be very cold, so the warm items are great to have. You might also look for a electric small throw that can be used in the lounge. You will want something warm on all the time. If your type of chemo causes hair loss it can be less traumatic if you cut your hair short before it begins to fall out. My sister cut hers very short before chemo started, but her chemo was for breast cancer. My brother had esophageal cancer 4 years ago and didn’t lose any hair, but he was really thin. He still has a hard time gaining weight. Here in Seattle we are busy praying for you and trusting that God is carrying you through this page of your life.

Thank goodness you found out before an unneeded surgery. So many videos with medical mistakes and miscommunication today, it’s scary. A few posts from RN’s saying lack of communication and missed entries, has gotten worse since covid. I’m hoping you’re keeping a journal of all appointments, medications, tests etc to make sure everyone is always on the same page. I can’t wait until you’re cancer free with this behind you. 🙏❤️

Explore if the cold cap can reduce the efficiency of the treatment. I used the cold cap for 3 treatments (still lost my hair) but actually I think in retrospect I would want the drugs to reach every part of me. (So none of those sneaky cancer cells could hide anywhere) much love 💕 Also the Cold cap prolongs each treatment by about 1hr 45mins. All the best Gorgeous girl xx

My father was diagnosed with cancer at 80. His mindset was extremely positive even doctors couldn't believe how positive he was. My dad told me the body will follow the mind and always stay positive. Hi Tiffany, lovely to see your update and the wonderful support and love around you. What a thoughtful and loving boyfriend you have. (Clone him, and sell on ebay, you could make a fortune lol) . Love your clothes. Favourites being 1st and 2nd coat. Didn't particularly like 3rd one but you guys didn't either. Long green coat is very bold, but you are young and beautiful so can well rock it. It will be so warm for you..... I have followed a lady that I feel sure has had the same chemo. She was scared to begin treatment, but has found side effects much easier to deal with than feared. Should nausea be an issue there are many different tablets. If one doesn't help another will. I think once you begin treatment then you can start ticking them off, nearer the finish line and a chapter of life you can move on from. Sending you heaps of love xxx❤️❤️❤️❤️

I vote the lighter and longer light green coat. I had a long warm coat for Chicago's very cold windy winters, and it was the best decision I ever made!! I also got super cold with my oral chemo drugs and LOVED my electric mattress pad on my bed. I'm sure you'll love your electric blanket. I found wearing a warm base layer under my other clothing helped a lot as well. Thinking of you, sending all sorts of positive vibes and of course prayers for you and your family as always!! 💜

My experience of chemo, you may be cold during treatment, you need to drink a lot, lots of comfy clothes, unsure what chemo drugs you are getting but for me, breast cancer, I lost my hair (it comes back great by the way so don’t worry:-)) but hats and stocks are a must and your iPad with netfix on is good during treatment. Has snacks too :-) but do not be surprise you get go off your favourite foods. Chemo is strange like that! Also paint your nail dark as chemo and day light damage your nails. I also did not give up work - try to have something else to focus on it good but not everyone can of course. Wish you beautiful lady the very best. I’ve been watching all your videos Tiffany and am completely rooting for you. Then a few days ago I was told my cousin has been diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma that has spread to his lungs and bones. Am completely devastated so can’t imagine how he feels. He’s going to have immunotherapy at our local hospital, but I wish he was under the Royal Marsden. I don’t know how care gets transferred there. I just feel like Tiffany said they are the experts. As a family member I feel so useless right now. His symptoms are really bad.

Hey Jade, thank you! You can ask to be referred. I think I got referred because at that time, they thought it was in 2 areas and it wasn’t very common in the hospital I was in. I wasn’t seen by oncologists at my other hospital, I was only seen by a surgeon. If your cousin is being seen by oncologists, you don’t need to be referred to royal marsden. I know it must be so hard for you and your family but the best thing for your cousin is for you to be there for him. Call him and check up on him. Try not to talk about the cancer too much. Just be yourself. If you need any help or any advice, please message me 💙 lots of love xxx

Some chemo drugs can effect your skin by different fabrics irritating you - hope that won’t be the case for you🙏🏼. So lovely and thoughtful of Matt. A true gem. A hot water bottle with a nice cover might help too. I know no matter what I tried I could not get warm. Try not to tire yourself - very slow and steady.
