Can we just take a moment to appreciate Matt. He's such an angel. It is tough in the Tamil Community (Indian or Lankan) to be accepted as a person who is NOT Indian or Lankan. I mean even in the Indian Tamil community they would not accept a Tamil Lankan. So thank you Matt for being amazing, taking the timeout of your life to be around for Tiffany and her family through this insane time.

@@tuarani1455 I was just saying in the past it was the case with marriage that Ceylonese Tamils on,y married within the community. Even Indian Tamils were considered outsiders . This was during my parents’ generation and when I was a child in the 70s. But not these days or even when my generation got married. It isn’t discrimination, it is just that people tended to keep to their own communities. Ceylonese/ Lankan Tamils are different from Indian Tamils. There are lots of differences in culture, even how we speak. The poster of this original comment has also made the distinction.

Amen. Keep praying you beautiful Warrior of God. This happened to me, it's not misdiagnosis God has healed you. It was still a journey but I had 5 cancer surgeries, refused chemoradiation, had another surgery at a London hospital 200 miles from me, had 2 miscarriages then a miracle child answer to prayer, then had completion cancer surgery. They twice thought there was metastases but fasted and prayed as God lead and they "somehow" dissappeared! God is faithful, whosoever calls upon the name of Jesus shall be saved. May His grace and Blood abound to restore you beloved ✝️💞🛐🛡️trust in the Lord, lean not on your own understanding

Tiffany, very small nodules ( like smaller than 5mm) in lungs normally do not light up in PET scan. It does not mean those small nodules are FOR SURE not cancer. In cancer world, nothing is for sure. My doctor said resolution of PET scan is not as good as the normal CT scan either. So you definitely should watch them through regular CT scan. They normally grow really slow though. If they do not go away by itself and keep slowly growing without treatment, then mostly likely they are cancerous. I am surprised that your doctor told you it is NOT in your lungs just based on PET scan, or maybe you just heard the part that you wanted to hear. The fact that the doctor asked you to keep following up and observe indicates that he was not sure if it is truly not in you lungs. I myself is in the same situation as you, and those tiny nodules turned out to be cancer. I hate to burst your bubble, but when it comes to cancer, we need to have the knowledge, double check, and demand to know the truth. You have gone through a lot recently. I really feel for you. I don’t like to say all the pretty, but useless words. But please keep up with you positive energy, research your cancer, and fight for yourself. I am fighting alongside with you too. Wish you all the good luck in your talk to your surgeon and hope you and him can figure out the best way to move forward with your treatment.

I am sure Tiffany really appreciated this. You are absolutely true about the Pet CT. I am also on my journey. I don't think we will ever really think we are free from it, even if it's not visible on a scan. Follow up scans on a regular basis should monitor any growth. It is good news. My sister had bowel cancer when she was 33, she felt the same way you did going into the hospital and seeing lots of older people and feeling like the youngest there. She had chemo and an op, we’re now almost 20 years later and she’s been cancer free ever since. I believe the same will happen for you too. Sending positivity to get you through!

My mum had cancer treatment and what I can say is that a positive mindset is literally half the battle when going through through the treatment. Please don’t underestimate the power your amazing positive attitude has during this time. You are radiating positivity and strength. Yes WE have this! I've never been so pleased to know a hospital got it wrong! I know you still have a fight ahead but any good news is definitely a victory and worth celebrating! I loved your mum's reaction and her sheer joy and love on hearing the news made me cry! The Royal Marsden are amazing hospital. They saved my mum's life 20 years ago and more recently when she had a reoccurrence of her breast cancer! You're getting the best care while being treated by them. You also have an amazing family and partner and their love and support will get you through the difficult days. I shared your journey with my mum and she sends you lots hugs and positive energy. There was no KZbin etc when she was first diagnosed and she truely believes that you sharing your journey will help others in a similar position with coping with their diagnosis. Stay strong and keep smiling.

Doing it alone is extremely hard - got my diagnosis in dec, op on my own and treatment on my own. My daughter came on the train with me but had to stay out of the hospital. I’m really glad now they are allowing family to accompany you for diagnosis and other important appointments. You do have the strength - God wouldn’t choose this path for us if we didn’t. Keep soldiering on! I’m so glad they did another scan to double check!

This is amazing news! I've never cried so much of happiness for someone else! I am young too and I've been through something similar and no one was allowed to come in with me, and my options were very limited due to covid ( it was during the first peak), there was no access to radiotherapy and chemotherapy would be a delayed. Luckily my cancer hadn't spread to my nodes and all I needed was surgery. I cried so much that day and called my loved ones like you just did :) Thanks for sharing your journey xx

Just came across your channel,all the best for your journey be brave,I was diagnosed for ovarian cancer this year begining,and completed 12+surgery+12 chemotherapy treatment and finally I am totally out of disease ,as 53 year old lady I can tolerate you definitely will be successful in this journey. Here I was lucky to be with good doctor s team and family, financial support and you too so, so when you are conveying the information please stress on the matter where you felt very weak and how you were able to cope up,this will really help someone out there. You have such a sweet spirit! My heart hurts for you when you describe being alone. We are in the US and my husband had kidney cancer treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. After all of his tests I literally had to drop him off at the door to hear the results…by himself. I was brave until he walked in and I cried so much. I’m happy and excited for you and the good news. My father just past this past Tuesday of renal cell carcinoma stage four that went metastatic. He suffered so much one complication after the next. He was such a strong man he lived with diagnosed cancer for 8 years, who knows how long he had it previously with it.

From the beginning she has kept her strength in the Lord. My family and I have been praying and believing God for a miracle.
