Andrew is so adorable telling us the color of his thermometer 😂😂. The advent calendar for coffee is a great idea!!!!!!. I am now ready to go through my Christmas collection and weed out the things I don’t use. I still put the ornaments on my tree that my children made they are now 44 and 37 and now I have my two grandchildren homemade decorations.🎄🎄🎄🎄❤️❤️❤️❤️🎁🎁 it is so hard when our fur babies are getting older and like me (70) I have arthritis. It is NEVER to early for Christmas music or decorating. I’ve been listening to Christmas music for two months now. I plan on decorating my guest bathroom today. Wednesday I’m going to decorate my kitchen. And Friday I am going to put up my snowman village. Christmas decorations make me happy. And these days I need to feel happy. My living room tree will be decorated November 3. My outside decorations go up Thanksgiving day. I am with you. It is never too early. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁

Crystal, I promise you, when my 3 kids were young, I used to decorate like you. My home looked like a wonderland. I had 7 floor trees in my home. As my kids grew up, I got grandkids. 6 of them I continued to decorate like you…. They couldn’t wait to come to grandmas house on through Christmas… 4 of my 6 grandkids are in college now…plus I’m older..in my 60s. I’ve had to cut down starting about 3 years ago probably. It still makes me sad. Watching this video I felt filled with emotion of how much I have cut down. Oh …..I still decorate, not nothing like before….moral of my story…enjoy it as much as possible. It is beautiful. Keep on as long as you can, and then continue 5 years after u want to slow down..lol. It is sad …so I will watch you do it, and get reminded of myself some years ago…man, it goes fast….love your videos❤️❤️❤️❤️🌲🌲🎄🎄

A few years ago when I packed my Christmas bins up after the holidays I used my label maker and listed everything inside each bin. The time investment was worth it, because it saved me so much time putting things away the following year!

I have been watching you for several years. I always love your videos. I have a friend who has a booth in a second hand shop. Every season she comes to my home and buys all my unwanted seasonal decor to sell in her shop. We always go out for breakfast and have a great chat too. We thought the time was coming for our dog with her bad arthritis. We started her on Cosequin tablets from Costco (on sale right now!) + CBD oil from Amazon and she acts like a puppy now. I never realized you were in South Dakota - we just got back from vaca there and it was beautiful (black hills, Rushmore, Custer).

I have a traditional red, green, Buffalo check big tree by my fireplace, a pencil flocked 7’ tree in dining room with white, gold and clear snowy, icy ornaments , I’m giving an old pencil tree to my church for our coffee room that I take care of, that was in the TV room replaced by a 4’ tree from Walmart, and 4’ in the hall (mini antique glass ornaments and on the porch with fairy lights only. I have great fun decorating, that’s why I love your channel!

Last year our daughter in law bought us Advent calendars from Aldi, one was coffee and the other chocolate. My husband and I alternated, one day the coffee, the next day chocolate. It was so fun ( even for seniors). 🙂 ☕️ 🍫

For years, I organized my tubs by room, but last July I pulled out all the Christmas stuff and reorganized it by type as you mentioned. It takes up much less room! Also, the fun part is deciding what to use where, not just doing the same thing year after year. I'm going to reorganize Halloween also when I put that stuff away. As always, love your vids! And yes, a few times a week for vlog is plenty.

I know how you feel about Bailey. Our miniature long-haired dachshund piper turned 13 years old this past May and she has a little arthritis in her right shoulder and when she has an issue with it we give her gabapentin. But other than that the veterinarian says that she’s in great shape 🥰

You are smart to start your decorating with your bedroom. Last year I did that as soon as Halloween was packed up and it was great! It was my own Christmas retreat and the perfect place to watch Hallmark movies! Like you, I decorate everywhere and the early start makes for less stress. Also took those decorations down last. Hi Crystal! Awww poor Andrew! I hope he's better! He is the most precious kiddo. Yes, I've started picking up Christmas decor. Like you I really don't need anything....I think I have 20+ boxes of decor plus florals and trees which has been accumulated over 20 years of decorating. But every year I bring what I don't use to GoodWill and replace with some newer items. This might be the year I don't buy as much as the stores don't seem to have a lot and I have a feeling they won't get more.The supply problems we are seeing will be felt this Christmas, I'm sure. The colors of what Hearth and Hand are doing are colors I may do more of this year....the darker reds/greens with the white. I'm pretty traditional too. Last year I did more silver/red with my tree and this year I may stick with that. I'd like to add more silver and white then add more of the greens and reds around the house. Did you get the Price flocked tree? That's what mine is and I love it. I've had it going on 3 years now and the flocking has stuck pretty well.

I'm not into Christmas decor as much as I use to be. I think it may partly be because there aren't any little ones around here anymore. Fall is definitely my favorite to decorate for and I hold onto that season as long as I can. Maybe you could open your K-cup advent calendar each day during vlogmas. I'd be interested in seeing the surprise coffees. Good morning ☀️. It’s been chilly here in New Mexico but today it’s going to be in the 80s. 😃. You do have a lot of Christmas decor I’m also going to use my same Christmas decor and buying new decor. I always enjoy your videos! The last couple have really gotten under my skin….but in a good way! I’m so anxious to go shopping now and my brain will be in Christmas mode every day, I’m sure! I just loved it when Andrew was following you back and forth…. so cute‼️ I hope he starts feeling better right away. I understand your concern about Bailey….our Maggie will be 15 in November.
