One thing I find interesting is the fact that your pounding containers are dug to the ground. The pounding bucket is called a "Kika" in Setswana. We do not have ours dug to the ground because it strains your back more, and we do not want to have to worry about sand or soil that comes with collecting sorghum that would have spilled over during the activity. Yours is actually very innovative idea, I have never seen it before.
