Thank you, thank you, thank you for making such thoughtfully sweet, beautifully inspiring videos! :D I found you when I searched Summer Solstice for ideas on how to celebrate with my littles. We made delicious Sun tea, sunny lemony cake pops, and set up an altar in our backyard garden. We watered our garden and each other while listening and singing to songs with sunshine in them :) We plan on celebrating all week for flower crown making, and paper suns. We really love the toadstools you made with clay and plan to make some this week as well. It has been a rough last 6 weeks feeling so sad for humanity. Today was the first day since then that I have found myself smiling throughout the day. Truly channeling the light, the sunshine (and the energy from your magical videos)! Now that I've watched, I just have to say how amazing you are! Not only creative, but informative, too. I have a particular place that I hike in the woods with the oldest trees I have ever seen in person. There is this one in particular tree, he's so tall and magnificent! Every time I take pictures of the trees and review them, I always see faces. I feel those are the spirits in the trees, guiding me along my hikes. I feel them. I really loved your green man! I'm going to make one for my altar! I wanted one, but they're so expensive to buy. Today was the first moment I had to watch. I sat in my “Fae Woods” for ambience. (I have a bunch of trees in clusters around my couple acres. All surrounded by acres and acres of farm fields) I could hear the neighbor moos yelling at their new little calves and all of the TONS of wildlife in my garden. The Sandhill Cranes doing their mating dances were absolutely hilarious. It’s like watching the “Fireys” from the movie “Labyrinth” LOL. This video made everything feel absolutely magical. I seem to thank you in every post lol. So thank you again, Sweet Alwyn, for always bringing us peace and loveliness. You are exactly the type of person we need more of in this world. Dearest Alwyn, I came to you totally randomly, it was the Summer Solstice and I was at home recovering from surgery so I couldn't celebrate as I usually would. I was feeling a bit down and totally at a loss in my magical life and I typed in Summer Solstice at Stone Henge and after I watched that, your video popped so so I watched it and it truly was the inspiration I was desperately seeking. Then I was hooked. I have been watching your videos and absolutely love them. I am probably twice your age but it goes to show that we can ALL learn from each other, no matter our age, just to be open. In one of your videos you talk about the book -The simple Life of Trees - and I have had this book in my wicker basket by my chair for over a year and never picked it up - guess what my next read is!
