Today was the first moment I had to watch. I sat in my “Fae Woods” for ambience. (I have a bunch of trees in clusters around my couple acres. All surrounded by acres and acres of farm fields) I could hear the neighbor moos yelling at their new little calves and all of the TONS of wildlife in my garden. The Sandhill Cranes doing their mating dances were absolutely hilarious. It’s like watching the “Fireys” from the movie “Labyrinth” LOL. This video made everything feel absolutely magical. I seem to thank you in every post lol. So thank you again, Sweet Alwyn, for always bringing us peace and loveliness. You are exactly the type of person we need more of in this world. We made delicious Sun tea, sunny lemony cake pops, and set up an altar in our backyard garden. We watered our garden and each other while listening and singing to songs with sunshine in them :) We plan on celebrating all week for flower crown making, and paper suns. We really love the toadstools you made with clay and plan to make some this week as well. It has been a rough last 6 weeks feeling so sad for humanity. Today was the first day since then that I have found myself smiling throughout the day. Truly channeling the light, the sunshine (and the energy from your magical videos)! Now that I've watched, I just have to say how amazing you are! Not only creative, but informative, too. I have a particular place that I hike in the woods with the oldest trees I have ever seen in person. There is this one in particular tree, he's so tall and magnificent! Every time I take pictures of the trees and review them, I always see faces. I feel those are the spirits in the trees, guiding me along my hikes. I feel them. I really loved your green man! I'm going to make one for my altar! I wanted one, but they're so expensive to buy. I get my clothes mainly from charity shops, my green forest trousers are from M&S and the top i believe it was from River island, (I used to be obsessed with that shop!) I've just watched this with my five-year-old daughter who's got an upset stomach, myself also having a bladder infection. The video was a nice pick-me-up for us, and we'll do some of the things here (also with my older son) later. I sometimes watch your videos while eating breakfast and it's always so nice to start my day like this. Especially if I have a walk planned. This time you got me into the right mood for Litha which I am going to celebrate this weekend since I don't really have time next week. (Although I will go on a morning walk on Midsummer to welcome the darkening half of the year.) Your cake looks so good! I always bake with lemons on Litha but to use thyme never came to mind. I think it's such a great idea! I even have lemon thyme in my little balcony garden so I am going to bake and decorate with it.
