Today I prepared for the arrival of my baby! Matt is currently attending weddings out of state, so I decided to take the opportunity to go through a third trimester checklist and get things ready.

You will definitely want a basket in each room with diapers, wipes, butt paste and powder. It helps so much when you’re chilling and don’t have to run to the nursery to get these things. You are nesting so cute and look amazing, praying for a healthy delivery Abby. Much love to you and Matt

Instead of a basket in every room you just take the baby to one designated spot like his changing table

@@Mustang09Hotty you dont always have time or energy for that. and speaking from experience, sometimes its so bad that moving the baby would just result in a trail of poop to wherever you're going or a full on explosion on his clothes and my clothes and everything around. and other times is just cause you don't wanna climb a flight of stairs every time you have to clean baby - which trust me, is ALOT. her advice makes a lot of sense. i didn't have baskets tho, I just had them stashed away at random places in the house.

@@M.A.Y.Y i have 4 kids and still have the time and energy to move my newest to a spot to change him if the poop is that bad you need to stay in one spot then they probably need to go to the bathtub!

From someone who works in a hospital, you don't have to bring many "post partum care" items! The hospital will provide pretty much everything you will need! And hey- if you're paying for the hospital stay, may as well take advantage of everything that comes with it! 😊 I wish you guys a super easy, stress free, and wonderful birth! 💙 I can't wait to see Lil dude 😍

I'm so thrilled for you both, becoming parents is the greatest feeling in the world! It's been 16 years since I became a mom but some hospital bag/coming home from the hospital advice I have is pack your own pillow and blanket, bring snacks, lip balm, slippers, and for home pre-prepped/made meals you can just reheat or throw in the oven for the first two weeks. Praying for a easy labour and recovery! Can't wait for little dude! ♥️

You're doing so much work to prepare for him and make your home a safe and happy place for him; he'll grow up so loved and so fortunate to have you both. I watch you guys when I need to do something good for myself but I’m procrastinating or having a depressive episode. Right now I’m working on my meals for the week. It’s like having a friend to talk to. I can’t for my elderly parents and it’s isolating. You guys are so funny and genuine. I’m appreciate you. You’re going to be the best parents. Truly. I felt the same way about the baby detergent! My kid is almost 3 and I still use it just because it reminds me of when I was preparing for her and when she was a newborn. That smell will always take you back to this time! Cherish every moment, they grow up way too fast.

yes, i’d love to see what you pack and the process. it’s so interesting to me what people pack. everyone is different so it so fun. with my first baby i packed soooooo much and over half i didn’t even use lol. my second baby i still overpacked but not nearly as bad lol. I also decided to use cute always disposable changing pads. They look like underwear . Trust me they are the best . best of luck for a healthy and safe delivery .
