Great story Mac, and great memories. I'm not sure the style seat you ordered would cause any delays... I do hope it's all you hoped it would be. I like the shape of the seat and the durability (non-scratch). The padding is slightly better (for me) Are you doing voice-over on this... sounds good. Ride safe Mac.

Yes, I hope the seat is worth the effort. I run two audios, interior and exterior, to balance the sounds. I seal my helmet and use a rag to absorb the echo from bouncing off the face shield. I dead cat both mics. I'm still playing with options. The current setup is not giving me the air I want. Might sound good, but not worth the airflow trade-off.

This trip sounds fantastic Mac! Memories from our past are very special. So much of it contributes to who we are today. Your surrogate family did a great job with you. RIP to your sister. My sister, RIP, passed away too young as well. Regarding your Ultimate seat. Are you being updated only through Southern Powersports? Have you called Ultimate directly and inquired as to the reason for this delay and more specifically when it was ordered and if it’s even in production. I have a hunch would be awful if someone may have dropped the ball either didn’t put the order in until late or not at all until you inquired. Ultimate should be able to tell you exactly when that seat was ordered, and what, if any delay should have been expected. I’m with Robert White on this. The level of customization, which is a standard order, doesn’t sound “delay worthy”. Keep us posted please. Best to you.
