@@angietinsley6093 I was talking about where my husband had surgery at University hospital. They didn’t tell us everything, the surgeon kept me in the dark about certain conditions of my husband’s surgery, it started two hours later with a complication that they didn’t inform me about until two hours in and then wouldn’t tell me what the complication was, to this day we still aren’t sure what is was (that was in 2018) promised he’d update me every half hour and didn’t, when I asked how it was going they were mad, the pacu nurse treated me terribly and didn’t treat my husband with care like the next pacu nurse did and when he got a room the nurses on his floor were even worse! So bad that I slept there with him to make sure they treated him well and he got what he needed when he needed it! They never even offered me a chair, I slept on the window ledge!! He didn’t get his meds on time, I had to call for them, they didn’t come for therapy I had to call and when she came she said she was busy and asked if I could do it with him...WHAT??? No I cannot it’s her job, not mine! So make sure you have someone there to stand up for you If you’re going to be highly medicated, you may need some one to speak up for you....god knows my husband did and we’ll never go back there again!
