My preparedness, I have a brand new 8kva generator ( brand new 3 years ago and only run about 1.5 hours ), 3 Invertors including pure syne wave , 4 vehicle start packs with usb ports etc , 3 deep cycle batteries, 4 Gas heaters, 2 camping gas cookers , 4 gas lights 26 gas bottles for gas cookers and lights. I can back feed the Generator into my electrical system to run the central heating with a extension with a plug at each end. No point sitting cold and in the dark there are solutions.
