I think wearing a compression sleeve during radiation of the chest is a good idea ( if allowed)(especially if you've had a mastectomy). Protect the arm from any possible bumping or odd positioning; sometimes a nurse will grab your arm to help steady you while getting up and down. (Breasr Cancer 3C -- 10 year survivor in November 2021).

33-radiation sessions. After each session I used cloths saturated with cool Epsom salt water (like that used as for a sitz bath). It was so soothing to my irradiated flesh. Aquaphor and other petroleum based products seemed to keep the heat in my flesh. The Epsom salt cool water was so soothing. Recommended by my radiology team.

The cancer clinic I went to (15 sessions) recommends 3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier Spray spraying Mon-Wed-Fri no creams and you use for 2 weeks after radiation. There is a video on 3M’s website where a staff member used it. I just finished my sessions Friday. I have no burning, no itching, no blistering. I have some red dots but the barrier seems to be taking care of any issues. I am to use creams in 2 weeks.

I also filled socks with rice and put them in the deepfreeze and used them throughout my radiation. My oncologist agreed it would be okay as the rice does not get super cold where it could freeze you and really just has a cooling effect like cold cloths I’ve heard others use. I made 4 as they cool down quickly.

@@KS-op5hbhi there, I did not use anything except the spray every other day. A little goes a long way. The bottle is small and I used one and some for my treatments. I am in the Niagara Region of the province of Ontario in Canada. The Walker Cancer Clinic which is part of St. Catherine’s Hospital is the cancer clinic using it for radiation. I am now 8 months post treatment and my breast and armpit area (where nodes taken) are pretty much normal. If you go to the websites of hospital and Center Centre you may find more information and reviews; but everyone was using it. You use it for two weeks post radiation, then you use creams. I used a cream called My Girls - it has calendula in it. I also did stretches and saw an osteopath for my left arm pain (from holding arm above head for radiation)! It was very minor!

hi Connie. Can I ask for more details on this spray? So you only used it on radiaton days M-F not weekends. Did you apply right before radiation? and then when you got home did you use things like aquafor or aloe? I am very interested in using this spray but I would love more info please!

Regarding your dry brushing for the body In someone video, the lady says to start brushing from the foot then go up When brushing the arm, she said that the arm should be up I don’t see you brush the back of the body? What’s your thought?

After the radiation “treatment” ends up inevitably killing the patient, they will blame it on the “cancer advancing”. Same with chemo. By then, your money is taken and their depopulation agenda is fulfilled after reducing carbon emissions from your oxygen consumption

I would like to know, when they say a woman died of cancer. Did she die of cancer? Or did she die of treatment? Because I don't think they separate the two kinds of death when they report cancer fatalities. Research states that some women are being treated for cancers that grow so slowly that they would have died from something else. No one told my mom that a side effect of radiation therapy was death. Yet she died from it.

I really can't say this thought is wrong. I've felt like my doctors are just dragging their feet so they can say "Oh well, we did the best we could but it was too advanced..." I do have stage 4 metastatic TNBC, but it's not supposed to be a death sentence. 🤔😡
