Why shouldn't people with tumors use a full vibration machine? The tumors on my chest causing lymphedema to my arm. I was hoping to use the vibration machine to improve lymph drainage. Will a rebounder work better then?

I had a mastectomy in September 2022. A doctor took my blood pressure on my left arm and I am disabled in my right side so the massage is difficult. I have scar tissue under my left arm where the drain was ( which never worked). I am tight around my arm and it's become uncomfortable. I will do these exercises. Thank you.

Forgive my ignorance, but why only the left arm?
@CancerRehabPT23 сағат бұрын
@@kellyfox3550 its a valid question! If someone has surgery to remove lymph nodes from one armpit (like for breast cancer) then they only are at risk or get lymphedema in that arm. So I have videos for each limb individually, but I also have some for the whole body. I just try to have videos for each individual possible case 🙂

Im 55.Had single mastectomy/25lymphnodes removed(breast cancer stage3ER+). afterwards had 15 radiation treatments. That was 2yrs.ago I've since developped fibrosis in right lung 🫁 later found out its caused by the radiation beam's trajectory accidently went into my lung. It's mild damage but enough to make me out of breath...can't run anymore or I gasp. My respirologist says the damage to lung tissue is irreversible 😢. My rheumatologists say radiation caused permanent damage to nerves in chest/arm/underarm area...still can't completely lift my arm up. Numbness and pains. Gotta wear a compression sleeve daily have lymphedema. Physio helps but can't reverse damages😢 Also have developped a chemical body odor in the chest right side area/arm/collarbone where radiation was done it damaged sebaceous glands and although I wash scar area daily and shower every 2 days😢it persists doctors don't have more answers for this saying its a rare thing. While radiation effectively killed the remaining cancer cells it caused me other issues. There's long term effects from radiation the medical field still dont know everything about this dangerous substance. I told my oncologists that I refuse to have any future radiation again much to their disagreement but thats how it is I got enough side effects to deal with already !

I'm 9 months post op and still seem to have a line (people have also called them pleats) on the right side of my face near my neckline. It looks like a string is under my skin (of course there's not). Is that normal and could this help with that? They keep telling me to be patient and I am, but I'm just nervous. Also having decompression surgery in January for Chiari 1 so I'm afraid it may make it worse. thank you!

Due to a severe neck condition with complications from surgery, including staph after surgery, I have feeling in the little fingers and index fingers only, both hands. The only feeling comes from excruciating neuropathy. No meds prescribed helped so I quit them all. Hoping the exercises help. Thank you.

thanks from the bottom of my heart., Kelly. Your videos on YT, for free, which is amazing nowdays, helped many women friends of mine, with different malignant issues and post surgery lymphedema. Your great effort and sharing all these info make many doctors very small. Here in Romania the GPs dont know how to manage this problem and where to send the patients after surgery. Many thanks and huge respect.
