Theres a lot of maintenance that you have to do before you get into your main season, I am doing the same here in Georgia, my wife and I just about have all the debris from the winter cleaned up and yes mowing season is just about here. Have a blessed day Ben

Sometimes the o rings at the little shafts that control throttle and shut off get weepy, easy to repair, I did it myself, don't forget to grease the o rings like I did, takes a considerable bit of time for them to suppke out other wise, makes things stiff in the mean time.

I had a reseal kit put in the injector pump on my 265 last September. There is a main seal between the two pump halves that was leaking on mine. Thought about doing it myself but decided against it. Mountaineer Diesel in Saint Albans, West Virginia did mine. I took it down on a Thursday And I picked it up the following Monday. I’m sure you probably have a diesel repair shop closer to your location. It’s not a cheap repair but was a lot cheaper than a total rebuild, which my pump didn’t need, or a new pump. I really enjoy your videos. Been subscribed since last summer when I run across your channel. I’m located in Pipestem, West Virginia which is about 45 minutes North of where you bought your John Deere. We run five tractors on our Farm and each one works for its keep. My Dad’s old 47 2n Ford, a 444 IH Diesel, Kubota 5030 SU 4wd with loader, the aforementioned 265 with loader and a MF 230. I also appreciate your Christian witness. Keep up the good work!

One year I fertilized a field around the end of March and then the first week of April we had a cold shot for several days. As a result the fertilizer we put on didn't do as good as years before or after. I started waiting until later in mid April, just wanted to share my story with you. I fertilized the latest last year I ever had and we got a late frost that did the same thing. It really stunted the growth. This stuff is all a gamble, the weather rules. I wish there was a cut and dry answer to what’s right. Thanks for sharing!

Check with Area Diesel Service about your injection pump. They more than likely have a kit or they can rebuild it for you. Not affiliated but they do great work.
