Attorney Eagon advises that one of the best things you can do is to prepare a list of talking points for the Guardian ad Litem. These talking points should be focused on what is happening in your home, not what the opposing party is doing or has done.
The appointed Guardian as Litem will dive into your background and your spouse's background by talking to neighbors, school teachers, friends, and family.
Remember, the Guardian ad Litem is looking at how your home is run and how that child flourishes within the home. So, abstain from bashing the other party.
