I have just finished the final draft of that book, as you can see in this video. Journaling in the mornings is a non-negotiable for me! Just while I’m having my coffee and looking out the window. It’s a time of taking stock of the previous day (with the benefit of having ”slept on it”) and setting goals for the day ahead. A bit of reflection fueled by what I like to call ”coffee optimism” just sets you up right. edit: you’ve also inspired me to clean my stove ❤

In the absolute nicest way possible, I find it hard to believe that you’d need classes on how to journal as you’ve done it on/off for years. I also think as everyone is different, people will naturally journal differently as per what suits them, there isn’t a right or wrong. I get that the odd sponsored video is needed though, I tend to skip that part of not interested 😂 (timestamps would be really useful there). 😊 Omg 🎉🎉 I’m loving seeing you use a hairdryer after all these years! Wonderful video as always, Ruby. ❤ I feel the exact same way about journaling. I have journaled a decade or more, and not even because of any particular reason or goal. But, if I go a couple weeks without doing so, I just have this strong urge TO do it. I understand completely how effective it is at decluttering one's mind. I’ve done a reset. Backed up my MacBook and iPad. Uploaded the lastest update for each of my electronics. Deleted last semesters readings. (I don’t need them) and have planned when my trimester and semesters start so I can prepare and print out new readings. I’ve cleaned my electronics and organised my desk. I still remember watching your 6 am morning routine back in 2017 when i was in class 11th and i got so motivated because of you. Terrific vlog Ruby. I love seeing your and your mother doing fun things together. Sitting in from of the oven when is cold is brilliant. But what I noticed is that you have two ovens in the kitchen…is this an English thing or just your family or that home? I live in the US and that happens but would be uncommon. I recall that you love the book Little Women. Have you read March by Geraldine Brooks. It won the Pulitzer prize and is based on the story of the father from Little Women during his time in the war and then when he goes home. Always love when your Mum makes a cameo appearance. Such a sweetie.

Your bookshelves are open ones like mine.. And mine get incredibly dusty... what do you do about it? I can't imagine taking out every book just to dust and clean the shelf often... and I have these glass and clay decor items that will break if I dust the shelf (without removing them beforehand, I mean)... What do you do? (Do I live in a dustier place, is that why the state of my shelves is so bad :P )
