As a German, I am certainly biased...but damn is the Eurofighter an beautiful and elegant aircraft. Hopefully, we Europeans will manage to develop and build a new aircraft together again.

Cool, great to see some European fighters. It will be interesting to see if they attempt a next generation aircraft. That's a big jump. I would call some of these approaching 4+, maybe, especially with what I expect are the latest, or at least later, avionics and sensor packages. Not a lot of stealth, though, and I'm not sure any can supercruise. Only one jump jet, and it is old and puny by today's standards, though fun to watch. Putting ALL of that stuff into one aircraft is what is REALLY difficult. The guy patting the wingtip goodbye was funny. That Typhoon is both pretty, and mean looking. I wouldn't say that any of our 5th gens are pretty, but they got mean designed in, in spades. There is just something 'sexy' looking about a canard, delta, though. The severe downward incidence on the canard after pullback, in climb, surprised me, though. Would have expect the opposite, if anything. Maybe when slats and flaps are deployed?
