Preparing my 900Hp AWD turbo k24 honda civic for a 1300 mile round trip driving to and racing at 5 tracks! Rocky Mountain Race week prep is on! We thrash on the car for 3 days to get it ready. Lots of time spent wiring, cleaning up stuff, and keeping everything away from the heat of the exhaust.

I love these high output turbo K24 4 bangers, it's like having an F1 engine in a civic. If you stand at the top end of the dragstrip, they sound very similar to a 1980s era BMW 2.2 liter 4 cylinder 1000 bhp Formula 1 engine. The sound is amazing.

@@marks8068 The van has more weight on it. And both have Dogboxes in them. Dogboxes refer to only the engagement of the gears, the Van just has a sequential Dogbox in it where the Civic is H-Pattern. Trevor's Civic also has AWD and a Dogbox, just like that van does.

@@SkylineBNR34 yeah I already noticed that later on in the vid, thought trevor still had standard synchro gears. The rearwheeldrive on Rowdyssey will make a lot of difference on the launch, but the weight of the civic makes up for a lot further up the track. Cant predict the outcome.. but love to see them go head to head! :)

I have seen guys weld a nut to the head of a snapped off bolt. The heat from welding helps to loosen the snapped off end.

My buddies turbo rsx just burned down. Was at the shop and so far best guess is it looks like the master melted and brake fluid caught fire. Make sure to add a heat shield between the hotside Nd master

You should measure that support rod you made and order a radius rod for there with 2 helm ends so you can preload tension on that support bar and also allow it to have some flex in the heim ends.

I think after drag week he should get the civic to really look nice, paint correction, lips, a little lip spoiler, paint the whole underneath of the car black, clean the engine and the engine bay, cause the car is almost running great, make it looks how it runs

FYI 8 AN and 8 0RB are the same thread pitch and size. Most of the time you can just put an O-ring on a 8 AN and screw it in. If you want to get real tricky you can cut the 37 degree angle off and chamfer the inside edge.

It’s all about hp, dyno a tuned car with full exhaust then fab an up pipe/side pipe don’t touch the tune re dyno it, and see the hp difference it will shock you

The broken bolt on aluminum you just MIG it till it's sticking out grab it and back it out

Use the tig welder to remove broken bolt you will save time and have more success.weld a ball on the end and use vice grips and your favorite penetrating lube. I suggest a product named air-kroil. This method has never failed me.
