@thedolenorway5 жыл бұрын
Best of luck in your sub 4 attempt! I'm running my first Marathon next Saturday, I'm not 100% sure of even being able to finish. My mind wants to dream of achieving certain times though, it seems possible when you are on the couch or lying in bed at night, not so easy when your legs are heavy and painful and you still have a half marathon to go. The course I'm running is not exactly a record pace course either with quite a bit elevation, especially the second half..
@mirekkowalski22845 жыл бұрын
And I want to run under 3h in last week of September. I think it's my last chance to cross the finish line within the same hour as the best marathoners do. After October the 12h the bar will certainly be risen.

I see two things that this attempt does differently in preparation compared to Breaking 2: 1) no advanced tech stuff measuring performance in a thousand ways, in particular let him train how he and his trainer think is best for him 2) a familiar training environment

After this year's improvement in the London Marathon and how close last year's Berlin was. I think he could've broke it during the Berlin Marathon. Would've been cooler but this is still dope AF
@LuisMartinez-ih2oc5 жыл бұрын
Reg Dunn. Yeah I thought he could’ve broke 2 hours at Berlin last year since he was flying through the finish line with a loads of energy still in him. He either could’ve broke 2 hours or close probably low 2 hour and 1 minute
@19Kamau795 жыл бұрын
@@LuisMartinez-ih2oc if he could have it in Berlin why in a earth he didn't do it?? His previous London course record was 2.03:05 and easily topped his time with 28 second margin which made him look clearly faster than his form in Nike Breaking2 and 2019 London wasn't his main goal of the year as 2018 Berlin was. If he'll reach his top form as last September and gets perfect weather conditions in fully paced and wind blocked attempt he should be about 60seconds faster as clocking 1.59:24 for INEOS challenge.
