Man, I remember when this whole thing happened. I remember hoping that Sam would repent and Nia would forgive. I'm so glad that God was able to work a miracle in their life. Transparency is so hard when you know it might hurt the other person. But that's how you take the darkness into light. God is good.

Abram, I was into Estes rockets too! Since I was a kid during the space race, I was REALLY into them. Bummer to have lost one on your first launch. Loosing one now and then is part of the game. Tell your dad, "Launch it straight up. If there is a wind blowing, tilt it A LITTLE into the wind." For recovery, we would designate 1 kid to stay at the launch site with his eyes fixed on the spot where it went down. If the rest came back without it, he can say, "Just left of THAT tree and behind the fence." Then they can try again. 🚀

Being honest and coming forth with sin is never easy. Even if it was just stupidity. Building trust in each other and in self takes time. A couple scriptures I appreciate regarding this is one, Psalms 51. Focusing in verse 13. David asks that after repenting of his sins, (with bathsheba) and if he could have God's forgiveness, he would use his experience to teach others how to avoid and deal with sin. Also, Psalms 130:2-4. How a humble plea for forgiveness can be heard by God and you can gain complete forgiveness. So we do not have to walk in shame. But feel a clean conscience. Ever draw closer each day to God and use what you've experienced to heal and help others. Good job guys.

I just watched the Netflix documentary and I love you all. My heart broke as you both told your story. We ALL make mistakes. How brave of you to tell your story. You’ve helped more than you even know. God made us and he made us perfectly imperfect. You’re young and strong and your marriage will be stronger for what you’ve been through. I hope you post the rest!! I got emotional thinking about the pain you must have went through, Nia. And how strong you are to be able to forgive Sam. I pray my marriage will be as as strong as yours! God is good. The hardest thing is to admit when you've made a huge mistake thats so bad it could end a family. You both are soooooo strong. For him to admit and for Nia to forgive is just amazing. Thats God's grace on your family.
