Hey, that's great resourcefulness! People complain about it being invasive and destroying native biodiversity, but if people reframe perspective from " weed" to resource, it might go to good use. This is similar to the newly renamed: "copi", (copious/ formerly called Asian carp in the great lakes. "Science Friday" on NPR had a segment about how they were renamed for several reasons. Biologists hope it encourages people to eat them, since for a long time they have been cultivated in ponds/ via aquaponics, in Asia. They've thrived in the Midwest.)
