Just some encouragement to anyone planning to take the test. I scored Listening: 9, Reading: 11, Writing: 12, Speaking: 12. I've spoken only English since birth and I don't consider my self highly proficient since we often speak a "broken" version of English in my home country, yet I was able to get those scores. My only preparations were completing the practice tests on the official celpip website twice and watching the videos about how to respond to the questions on this channel. Both of these were done less than 24 hours to the exam. I wouldn't advise that for everyone, but go in with confidence, communicate like you would to a friend, take notes and hopefully, you'd succeed. Good luck to everyone!

Hello, that's correct! This is only for Canada. CELPIP is accepted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), some professional organizations, and some university/colleges/vocational programs in Canada.

0:15 - The transcript literally says "The owner's dog is wearing a pair of green shorts and a blue t-shirt". Are we supposed to interpret this literally ? A dog wearing very specific clothes ? And this is a level 12 transcript ? The one that gets you the max score ?

The speaker in this response appears to have accidentally reversed the order of his words. He should have said, "The dog's owner is wearing a pair of green shorts..." (and not "the owner's dog" is wearing the shorts). Because this speaker demonstrates strong vocabulary consistently throughout the response, however, and the listener can easily understand the intended meaning, this error would have no impact on the overall Speaking score. (Level 12 responses aren't necessarily perfect; provided the speaker can demonstrate numerous strengths across all four skill categories that the raters assess, and any errors present are minor like this one, the response can still earn Level 12, the highest score achievable on the CELPIP Test).

I am writing to express my disappointment with the CELPIP-General LS exam I was supposed to take on April 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM. As an international student who traveled all the way from Taiwan to take this exam, I was highly disappointed with the unprofessionalism displayed by your testing center. On the day of the exam, I arrived at the testing location 15 minutes before the scheduled time only to find the door locked and no one present at the testing center. I even sought assistance from the security personnel, but they refused to help me and did not provide any contact information for the people at the CELPIP building. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of assistance and the unprofessional behavior displayed by your staff. Moreover, I discovered that I am not the only one who has faced such an issue in the past, and this level of incompetence is unacceptable for an international exam. As a result, I have left a comment on Google to let other taskers know about my experience and to be cautious when selecting a testing organization. I would like to request a refund for the exam fee and to reschedule my exam at a later date. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution to this matter.
