Emma Duncan sometime it’s better to have a nice size enclosed and allow your bunny out in different areas throughout the day. The can help them be more active & combat boredom. Also if you bunny in a single bunny a mate might be something to think about if you feel like she is bored.

It takes time I held my bun or the first time the other day I was gone for three days and he was happy to see me. it can be a stressful experience for them to be held, And too much movement while holding them and scare them. You also just wanna make sure you're picking up your bunny in the right way.

Can you please tell me what to do I just got my bunny and he has a extra large dog pen and when I take him out of it he runs around and has fun but when I tried to put him back in he runs and will not let me pick him up or touch him to put him back in his pen

This can definitely be a problem, you can try to get him to come to you by using food or try blocking off areas he can hide under. Honestly it’s just trying different things to see what works for your bunny. It’s important that you start trying to get him in at least 10 to 15 mins before you have to leave or you will be late. I learned this the hard way.

Ok thank you so much I started leaving him in his pen and picking him up for like 3 or 4 seconds and then putting him down and giving him a treat and he is getting better I’m not letting him out of his pen anymore for like a week until he gets used to it so he lets me pick him up when he needs to go back in his pen thanks for all the help I appreciate it a lot 💙😊

Me and my parents are arguing if carefresh or woods shaving is better than fleeces or rugs. I prefer rugs, for me and my bunny. They say bunnies need wood shavings for him cause it’s more natural and the breeder who sold us the bunny recommended carefresh. I don’t trust breeders opinions on some things. So can you make a video “Carefresh v.s. Rug or fleece.” I’d be a great help because they want the opinion of a professional. Thank you for reading if you did.

Jacob Vickery I prefer rugs also. There really is no right answer except that bedding like carefresh should only go inside the litter box otherwise your bunny will get confused & potty all over their enclosure, make a mess & sit in their own waste. This can cause sore hocks and other health problems. If you do use carefresh only put it in the bunnies litter box. Personally I found that wood shavings don’t absorb odor very well and are messy. I prefer equine bedding or pine pellets. Most wood shavings are not good for bunnies. Aspen is the only shaving I know of that is bunny safe. Hope this helps.

Jacob Vickery the bunny that is in wood shavings in the beginning is a rescue bunny and this was her cage when she came to me. Her new cage has tile with fleece and a litter box with pine pellets & hay.

Hi tifanny l have rabbit also l love him too much but l have serious problem my side, l look vet for trimming my rabbit teeth but here my city all vets ask big money for every teeth trimming, they always giving narcos to my rabbit and my rabbit cant awake 4-5 hours after operatıon, l search internet this narcos could be dangerous for them but l cant find any secure way, l would ask you how you trim your rabbits teeths? My rabbit about 4 years with me l become worry this narcos will kill him and this make me very sad. Jennifer Del Rosario yes you absolutely can 👍🏻🐰❤️ just make sure the cage is larger at least 4’x2’ but if you can fit a 4’x4’ that would be even better. A DIY option or puppy pen is a great option. Bunnies don’t have to free roam all day to be happy.

I’m ok, just a lot of life changes after a divorce. I don’t have the rescues anymore, re-homed most of the bunnies. Then, sadly, Pinky passed away last Thanksgiving. Her passing was really hard. I have been working on saving to buy land to homestead up north. Once I am settled I would love to start posting again but there hasn’t been a right time to get bunnies again until I move. Sierra Harp I have a rabbit rescue with over 20 bunnies at times, it’s not possible to free roam at a rescue. I go by the house rabbit society standards. All of my bunnies have exercise pens or DIY condos & take turns free roaming in the rabbit room throughout the day. The first bunny in the video in the small cage was taken the day she came to me. I don’t house in store cages with wood shavings. Watch some of my other videos please!
