Hi Sheelagh did you get yours out as planned?
@sheelaghomalley54592 жыл бұрын
@@MoorfieldFarmFlowers No. I had to get the Christmas wreath samples done. Am starting tomorrow with a White waterlily dahlia (unknown name) that has been a workhorse for me. Hoping to divide into single tubers to multiply my stock.

OK good luck with that. We grow Cameo, a creamy white waterlily which is a beauty.

Thank you. Can I ask why you store these as clumps, but others as singles? Why would you not divide all your clumps as much as possible before you put them into storage?

Hi again - my first answer covers this I think. Last year I divided all into singles to test the method (cling film wrapping), and it worked really well. But there is no "need" to do this. If you have only a small space to store then the clingfilm method is much more space-friendly, and easier to react if for instance a freeze is due - you can just bring the small box/es indoors. Hope this helps.
