I wish we had such a lecture for almost all infectious disease... And some for even non infectious disease... This brain mapping type of approach is what I adore the most... If anyone at prep is reading this comment... Please make such lectures along with the normal method u use.... It would be boon especially for repeaters who are more interested at brain storming than the vertical method of learning

Deepak marwah sir...... Aapka explanation ekdum jhakaas. Loved it But sir..... The ace2 receptor theory was given in Lancet. And patient on these drugs for htn are at increased risk of COVID19. But it is just hypothesis. And in fact European society of cardiology are saying that ace inhibitors or ARB are not increasing the risk of COVID19. In fact they're protecting by molecular mechanism which I cannot explain it here.

Dr. Garg in Pharmac said about using Remdesivir and Favilavir while Dr. Marwah in Medicine said about using Lopinavir and Ritonavir. If I have to prescribe drugs to a patient of COVID-19, which combination of drugs would be more suitable?

AIIMS protocol mentions lopinavir and ritonavir. The Italians at medanta were treated with same. Others mentioned by GRG sir are also undergoing clinical trials . It is too early to conclude anything .

Doc u don't wait for PCR before starting MV or ECMO if ARDS criteria are met . It may not be COVID 19 but may be adenovirus or even flu A of flu B .

Sir i want to know can the shortness of breath be the only symptom of corona infection..which is not associated with fever or cough.. Actually it is about my friend.. He is having sob since 1 day. Also i would like to mention he is having history of going to people gatherings in recent 2 days.. Is there any need to undergo testing for corona

Shortness of breath is anyways a symptom one should not ignore in normal situation as well.....i would suggest that your friend should get a checkup by a doctor.....If i may ask, if there any other symptom your friend is having like sore throat or congested nose?

No doctor for all cases NP swab and OP swab is taken . South Korea has made drive in testing centres for same and we need the same .
