43:23 as said at equator temperature is more so water expands and at poles since the temperature is low so the more density and Hence the compression. But at the frozen state I.e. ice state the density is less so the expansion would be more. Then how is it possible that the water starts moving from equator to poles because of temperature reason?

@44:18 Sir's explanation about the contribution of winds to ocean currents is incorrect! At the above moment, he told that the easterly winds flow from African coast to South American and also takes the water with it. Later, this water gets deposited on the south american coast and thus, giving rise to the situation where the water is at a higher level on South American coast and at low level on African coast. Thus, according to this the ocean current(direction) is flowing from the *South American coast to the African coast* But the above explanation provided by sir is completely wrong! As @52:30 we can clearly see that at that place, are the north and south equatorial currents whose direction is with the wind(i.e. *from African coast to South American coast* ) not opposite to it (as what the sir said - counter equatorial current)!!
