Just because you put most of your lives on here doesn’t mean you can’t have somewhere that is private. You should keep your living space as your private area, don’t feel pressured by others.

Why stand on the tradition of man asks woman ? Today women are certainly free to take the initiative in marriage proposals, especially when many other traditions have agreeably been set aside . The reality is, I believe, that marriage is not valued by absolutely everyone. In modern times women are not financially, socially, or emotionally dependent on any man. He is not a prize! We are not going to dissolve into tears of gratitude and delight that a man has evaluated us and found us worthy of being his wife.

In some countries, if you have been together for a fixed period, they classify you as being legally 'common law husband & wife'. However, I do agree on getting a contract drawn up in the event that one of you dies. Without it you may be forced to sell your property.

A great video and one of your best yet! We're all such nosey buggers aren't we - Now the greenhouse needs some 10mm thick twin-wall polycarbonate. It should be UV coated so put it up the rightway and get the coated side on the outside. Sounds simple but someone not far from this keyboard got it wrong. The thin stuff just won't last so replace it all. Have fun = 😃😃😍😍😎😎 BTW - we were together almost 25 years before we did the deed. She said she wanted to make sure !

I believe in privacy. We have been married 54 years and each of us has our private space (our home is not large). You need it to recharge to step away from the irritations of living with your best friend. You do not need to share everything with us. I enjoyed the question and answer session that was lovely. It is enough that you are letting us tag along on your journey. (remaining mysterious is a good approach to keeping people interested)

Cupboard doors open LOL I blamed my kids until they moved out then I realized how much I left the cupboards open. Haven’t a clue why but I’ve gotten much better at closing them.😊 I’ve seen people who are renovating live in tents, tents in barns, buses, caravans, one room of a very dilapidated building, a shipping container. You do what you can until you renovate and make a place livable it’s part of the process for most people no reason to be embarrassed. It often is motivation to get a project done though! Love your channel keep up the good work.

Think of this project as a living museum. You are working each day to build/restore a building to your specifications/needs. There is no hurry. You are working steadily towards a goal, not a date. The guest house is your experimental project. This is where you learn how to do renovation work. You'll take that knowledge to the big house and renovate it to your best standards. (or make all new mistakes. Lol) In addition, you're learning how to farm in a new environment (let's face it, this isn't the U.K.) It's not easy to learn weather patterns, seasonal issues, predators/insects, quality of earth etc. Keep doing what your doing, and we'll just follow along.

Your greenhouse panels are a tricky one….happened to me too. The panels are actually coated with a UV resistant film only on the one side.
