The media has made "preppers" out to be lunatics preparing for something that isn't likely to happen. Back when I started researching preparedness I soon learned that it doesn't matter how much of anything you have, without the ability to restock you will run out. That was when I started researching food production and preservation, the more I learned I soon realized I could grow my own food and provide most of what I need to live myself. Since then I have researched different breeds of livestock and evaluated the pro's and con's of each to determine the best breeds to raise and the best types of livestock to invest in. So unlike other preppers that have thousands of dollars of freeze dried food stacked up in every spare space in their home, I use my food everyday and continually restock. Personally I'm not prepping for anything, I'm working on being able to provide my own source of food. In the event that something does happen it really won't make much difference to me, actually I could become the local grocery store.

You might as well spend the money while you can still buy stuff with it! If you wait too long you'll end up with worthless money AND NO FOOD! 😲 😂

Funny how the term "prepper" has such a negative stigma. Also funny how ridiculous it is that so many people mock others for simply thinking for the long term and planning ahead with a few "preps" lol. I think it's mostly liberals and brainwashed people who think it's negative to be prepared IMO. I do think more people are starting to catch on and realize the importance of making logical preparations. I also think for many of us it starts to become a fun hobby rather than a stressful thing. The problem with some preppers is that some focus on just one situation and that can make them seem crazy. One thing I kind of disagree with you on is if things got really bad I'd honestly still want to be alive and try to stay alive as long as possible to help reproduce and possibly just see how long I could survive because at that point why not? Regardless if something major happens I do think its going to matter how much ammo, food, survival supplies etc. someone has IMO. Of course it depends on the seriousness of the situation. If a huge asteroid that causes some type of instant Extinction level type of event of course we're fucked either way. Of course a healthy balance of being prepared for logical and likely scenarios and things is important which I agree with you on. Some people take it too far though and end up pushing people away. Prepping could also be looked at as simply investing into precious metals for the likelihood the dollar will collapse as it's losing value overtime anyways. Whether the investment be ammo, food, water filters, supplies, or even rare antiques for a side business that in itself is prepping even if a person doesn't realize it. What really matters is the mindset of the individual and how they utilize their knowledge and things they have prepped. That in my opinion is what makes a real prepper.

Stacking9mm. Check out Rod Serling's Original Twilight Zone episode called "The Shelter", if you're old enough to remember it! If not, no worries, just Google the title and it'll show up! 👍

The word "PREPPER" has gotten a bad rap, ... it's just being prepared for emergency situations, .. no electricity, no water, storing food in case of financial problems, ect ...

I enjoyed your video (and a couple others), but I have a quirk. I dislike "liking" on the tube. Alas. I bookmarked you instead so that I can peek back in another time. So ... you can add a "+1" to your creepy stalker list. Thanks for the bit of logic! :)

Preppers are victims of themselves , look at most the youtuber preppers they just want to sell stuff or show what new toys they bought. Very little of them took a CPR /first aid class or even know how to fix basic stuff around the house , but they won 10 guns and 20 ferrow rood , I am not a prepper but I believed in knowing stuff and having the basic at the house is better than storing seeds / tools without even really knowing how to use them.
