good selection of kit. I haven't got the cross bow. I need to get a few bits while I still can, you can feel it in the air there going to stop us purchasing. when I purchase I think will that last 20 years etc, purcashing things of value and will last is the way to go, kelly kettle, knifes, fire lighting kits, foraging books, fishing lines hooks, tarps, bungy ropes, water filters, fold away spade, shelter building. there reset can shove it.

Crossbow is not a priority really, there are other options too . But all you have mentioned is absolute must, takes time to accumulate but a Must

yes preparing to live outdoors before they cut us off with the cbdcontrol. purchase camping equipment before it says illegal purchase detected 😀the digital trap is just around the corner. thanks to the compliers paying on there phones. dragging us all down.

I agree about things starting to get harder to come by, for the last 3/4 years you can’t even buy basic sharp kitchen knives just as a pick up item, my good knives are kept separate for the right occasion, hubby has just done a house clearance to help someone and a pick axe just might of found its way here 🤣 along with boxes of candles and wool blankets, everyone thought the old man was a hoarder but obviously he didn’t trust certain people.

A green laser on the Crossbow for deterrence if confronting a home invader/intruder during SHTF. A high intensity weapon mounted LEP torch would also temporarily blind an intruder as well.

I've done that too! I also got a cast iron dutch oven, its fantastic for outdoor cooking. Got lighter stuff incase we have to leave the house. Crossbows on order.

There's gonna be an excess of stuff without owners . About 15mill dont look like us and will flee immediately if things get messy .

I didn't know the Government had banned Hexamine fuel in case someone decided to make some RDX high explosive with it. Luckily I purchased 30 x Lightweight Hexi Cooking Tablets x 6 Heater Kits from the Preppershop last month. I'm going to have to purchase some more G5 Montec Broadheads from Merlin Archery as good quality Broadheads (but expensive) are getting very difficult to source. I might as well order a Trophy Ridge Digital React 1 Pin Sight as well for a recently purchased EK Archery Axis Compound bow I purchased a few weeks ago. Next the Government will be banning ballistic level 3 and 4 body armour plates, full face Respirators, Range finders and Night Vision Scopes equipment, IR Laser sights etc.

I have 2 small pistol crossbows but the misses has trouble cocking them. But in shtf situation the adrenaline will kick in and make it easier.

I’m glad it’s just not me , it is super tough to cock them, there are options of different cocking not sure if easier but I think we will look into that. Otherwise I’m sticking with air rifle, no cocking required!

Issue with those hand tools can be the quality - most are out of order quickly, and the toughest are expensive. A good swiss knife is expensive (Mc Gyver's knife). as for the cross bow, if it is for killing wild animals (for food), not so easy at all ... Anyways, I have more and more bad feelings as the year 2024 is going on ...

They are not actually that bad but ofcourse comparing to branded items big difference, that’s why I choose Gerber for more important tools, including multi tool. Crossbow is for fun, one must enjoy the life right now 😁

Did you buy the crossbow for self defence? If society in the UK falls into a lawless situation where we need to kill each other and fight to survive, I think I will take a backpack and move abroad.

A break barrel air rifle for small game, sap gloves would be better, or a slap jack a bamboo cane - or blackthorn irish walking stick as well. Any cold steel machette bowies & spears. Books on knowledge like poors mans james bond books or Black Medicine books you can find pdfs online.

I agree, they are also so very cheap, I got one with a yellow handle, easier to find if dropped in woodland, must admit I seem to have got carried away,and have five.

Rambo Exploding Arrows in Real Life 😳🏹🔥 It should be made clear that making RDX explosives with Hexamine Camping fuel with Nitric Acid and then making Rambo Exploding Arrows is against the law in the UK especially if using miniature PIAT design type HEAT armour penetration broadheads.

Crossbows are slower to reload than a bow but can be used during the night (unlike a Compound or Recurve bow) as they will usually have a Picatinny rail which can be used with a Night Vision Scope (Thermal or IIT tubes Scope). ATN MARS4-3 Night Vision Riflescope NVWSMRS430 Generation 3.

Wow, and I thought the Canadians were strict. Our government continues to try to take our guns away here in the US and I’m sure they will succeed eventually, although it is written in our Constitution (2nd Amendment) that citizens have the right to bear arms.

A guy who has become a good friend runs a bug out shop in mid Wales... he is an ex British army chef and they also run useful prepping and survival courses there, great resources for knowledge and kit... A very level headed family guy who gives sound practical advice who doesn't trade in fear mongering like some other channels tend towards.... He's got a yt channel and you can get links to his shop and courses etc at the bugout shop... They also run a camp site there in the woods but with facilities on hand... tree houses, log cabin/pods tent pitches and hammock camping... Personally I prefer to put my money into a family run business who are lovely kind generous people ... Hope you don't mind me sharing this info Anna, it is for everyone's mutual benefit ❤
