It's a shame, they don't build things like they used to. Things used to be made and built solid back then. You'll probably have quite a time pulling that down. Gone are the days when stuff used to actually be built solid and sturdy.

Goot - glad you left the flip flops at home for this one LOL! I think you are on the right track. If I were you, I'd try and set all my cables (inside/outside/exterior walls) before I made my first pull - (assuming you have enough cable/straps/ropes, whatever). That way you won't have to go inside after the thing partially collapses. Good luck. Can't wait!

I only really have enough to hook up one at a time unfortunately.

@@HumbleAcres Run twine string or something similar through the alternate pull locations. Then you can pull the cable through with twine string without entering the house again.

About 10 years, Unsure on year built state says 1900 but they use that date when they don’t know. That is my 4runner farm vehicle.

Hello cant help but think of the people who built that house. There time effort and the ones who lived there. That wide board along the stairs not a common piece of lumber these days that was a big tree. The true 2x4s in that place could be reused but that's life. You might have to pull small sections at a time. Maybe a larger tractor will be needed Well one last time the house will be enjoyed by you and all of us watching be carefull. Thankyou sir. Have a great day.

You are right, I would have saved the lumber and used it for other projects. Some people just to quick to get something done.

For a minute there, I wondered if the front door had become a load bearing member and the whole house would collapse when it was freed!
