If anyone's trying with the Lotus Biscoff for the crust, no need to add sugar or salt! Just melted butter will do. Biscoff is quite dense & flavourful in terms of texture & taste anyway! Great recipe btw ❤️

Have you ever made a Pavlova? If you have I suggest making one using the Banoffee flavor profile. It's SO good!! I didn't use toffee in mine either but my homemade caramel sauce was a great replacement. My meringue came out so stable that I was able to put down 2 layers of each ingredient. It was massive but oh so yummy... 😋

This is one of my fav pies! I prefer to use chocolate cookie crust and cocoa powder for dusting on the top. I also add way more dulce de leche than that, but only on the bottom. Not as many bananas and no toffee chips. And I smooth out my whipped cream on top too. So delicious! Mine slices beautifully.

But I found that if you can get hold of soft chewy toffee/caramel a brand called Werther's original. Toss them on the microwave or a Bain Marie just to melt put some cream in so it doesn't go hard again after cooling..bum got your self's a caramel sauce it's amazing specially in a banoffe pie😆😆

He can make it, he just can’t say it! 😆 I’m glad he explained it’s British because in Britain everyone thinks it’s American. It’s a British American-style dessert with a name that we’d guess Americans would come up with. The original creators were adamant this pie should be made with sweet pastry, but you rarely find it like that, it’s almost always made with a digestive biscuit crust.
