Establishing a new ministry is unnecessary and a waste of resources. Instead, we should focus on streamlining and consolidating existing ones. It's illogical to create a separate ministry for livestock when the agriculture ministry can handle it. This move contradicts President Tinubu's promise to implement the Oransanye report, which recommended merging ministries with overlapping responsibilities to enhance efficiency.

This is done to decongest the ministry of agriculture which has many underperforming agencies. This is a step in the right direction as it will reduce farmer/herder crisis. Your criticism is not in tune with development in our dear Nation.
